Namaste,

Well, this morning I had been invited to the CMBS Metro Men's Prayer Breakfast. This was the 27th annual Men's Prayer meeting in the OKC Metro area and my good friend Tony Brummitt has sponsored a table. There were dignitaries from all over the city, state, and nation. It was pretty cool, to hear from a guy who just got out of prison after nine years for embezzling 9 million dollars. I raced back to work, but not before stopping at Starbucks! Since I was behind, it made the morning go by really quickly! I met Ben for lunch, then back for the afternoon! We stayed fairly busy, which was great! I came home and dressed for the gym, then headed up! My plan was to assist Tyler, Tim, and Ryan. To do anything they needed! We decided to do light MMA, which is a misnomer, because once you get smacked in the mouth, all bets are off! I rolled with all three of the for three rounds each. We were doing one in one out, which means, you sit out every other round. I got my a$$ beat! My right cheek is scraped, and bruised, my left elbow may be broken, and my right tibia is fractured. I broke it about two weeks ago, so I wear two shin guards on my right leg. I have a ostrich egg shaped swelling on the front of my leg and it hurts to touch it! Hell it hurts just to walk! I came home and got a hot shower, then watched the Thunder play the Celtics! We won! First time our guys beat the Celtics in Boston! Way to go! Here is a picture from a Thunder game!

Love you all!

Namaste,

Morning started really early! I went to bed early so when Boomer wanted to go out at about 3:30, I never went back to sleep! I watched the same news broadcast about seven times. Dropped the kids off, and then hit Starbucks! I have not run into Erin in a couple of weeks.... I need to see her, she always has a smile on her face. She is the swimming coach at North High School, and I really want to take pictures at a swim meet sometime, but don't want to seem like uncle perv, taking pictures of the high school students in their bathing suits! On to work, and same old, same old.... Busy morning, then slooooooow afternoon! I went outside and pulled weeds from the hospital lawn for an hour. I came home and worked on my fish pond, and trimmed shrubs. I also sprayed the back yard for weeds, with my all natural weed killer. Vinegar, soap, and salt! Had to run over to moms and put back up a fence panel that blew down in our 50mph wind! Welcome to Oklahoma!

Love you all!

Namaste,

Took the kids to school, then Starbucks. Got to work and got busy... The morning went pretty well, then the afternoon hit! Here we go again...... I think it was so sloooooow because I had so much I could have been doing outside, but I was locked in looking out the window at the beautiful weather. Today I need to come get the lawn trailer and work on the Edmond property! I was just there on Saturday, but there is so much to do over there. I need to start seeing some money roll in! This whole venture has just about killed the budget. The commercial accounts should start paying within the next week or so. This will help create some margin! A minimum of 10% will go into a separate account to help with this years "Quest"! I am also looking for one or two major sponsors. My first "Quest" will be traveling to Washington, to climb Mt Rainier. Many other peaks I am interested in climbing (Mt Blanc, Pumori, Ama Dablam) require, a Rainier, or McKinley. On some of these climbs you have to be invited to climb on an expedition. I am ready to do something huge. I am going crazy here in the flat lands. RMI has a team on their way to Everest. I get an email everyday that updates me on their progress. They reached Namche Bazaar, yesterday..... Makes my heart burn, I love Namche! The people of the Himalaya's were so nice to me. Anu Sherpa, Dawa Sherpa, and all of the staff at Himalayan Lodge. The above picture is Kongde out of my front door at Himalayn Lodge!

Love you all!

Namaste,

For those of you who are new to the blog... Namaste, is a greeting that means "Bless the spirit within!" I usually start every blog with that greeting. Everyone one the trail from Lukla to Base camp, and beyond greet each other with a simple "Namaste!" Anyway... Sunday was a very bust day. Started by working in the parking lot at church, then inside for service. The minute I got home I changed and headed over to Ben and Kinsey's house to do their lawn. Saturday when I was doing their house that is for sale, I drove by their house they are living in and "DANG" can you say "Come on Ben!" I have written so many times how much I admire Ben and Kinsey... They give so much to everyone, that I just wanted to do something nice for them! Ben is involved in the "Big Brother's" program. He picks up a young man named Dakota, every Saturday morning, and takes him somewhere to do something. Ben also goes out of his way to help anyone who needs anything. Kinsey works full time for a PR firm, and serves on several "Board's of Director's" I know she works with the "Homeless Alliance of Oklahoma" and "Christmas Connection" and always does anything needed to help out wherever she can. The guy's are awesome, and I just wanted to give them a little bit of what they give to everyone else. I Mowed and trimmed their lawn, and then sprayed for weeds.... It is going to look like napalm went off in their yard, because it was pretty much all weeds. I then headed over to Mom's and did the same over their, again.... Nothing but weed's. Then home to do my yard.... Not as many weed's, but still had to spray. Came in showered, then Mike came over and we headed over to the Thunder game. We played like crap! Anyway... Came home and passed out! I have been challenged to fight Mike Giroux tonight! He has been watching me spar with some of our pro fighters, and wants a piece! I got another new pair of Muay Thai shorts! They are pink with black flames! I am going to wear them tonight! Time to get ready for work!

Saturday Night, March 28th, 2010

Namaste,

Ok.... So I wrote about going to The Fine Art's Institute Dinner? My art was mixed in the auction with Dale Chihuly, Santa Fe artist Dick Evans, and Jane Matzdorf. What an honor! I donated "Morning at Mesa", "Delicate Arch", and "Color of Lukla". When we left at 10:30 "Morning at Mesa" had a $400 bid, "Delicate Arch" had a $350 bid, and "Color" had a $150 bid..... I know the bid on "Color" was going up because as we were leaving the director told me she was going to buy it not matter the cost! Pretty amazing! The Chihuly went for $9,750 sooooo I have a way to go but it was great. I think I may become even more involved in the FAI! This event was attended by the beautiful, and famous, not to mention the wealthy of Oklahoma. Sherrie and I had a blast and were treated very well. The food was out of this world, and I ate things that I don't usually get. Duck taco's, Lamb, Pork thingy's..... I had a blast! Thank You Miriam for getting us invited and involved! Time to get ready for church, and then have a couple of lawns to do. Thunder Vs. Portland tonight, then busy week at the gym. We have three fighters getting in the ring Friday night, and company coming in on Thursday. Need to get some residential accounts done this week, Make That Money!

Love you all!

Friday and Saturday, MArch 26th, and 27th, 2010

Namaste,

Friday morning, as you could tell I was in a mood! I took the kid's to school, then hit Starbucks. I got to work, and got really busy! I came home at lunch and laid down for a while... I have been burning the candle at both ends and I was exhausted. The postman rang the door bell, there was a stray dog outside so Boomer was going nuts, my cell phone was ringing off the hook, so I got up and went back to work. The afternoon was pretty slow, but there is always something to do! After work I came home and picked up Sherrie and we headed down to the Thunder game. The Lakers were in town, and we blew them out. We were up by 30 points several times during the game. We came home and I crashed. I got up at 5:00 this morning and loaded my trailer, picked up a friend of Jordan's at 7:00 and headed over to Midwest City to spray weeds, and pick up trash. We were there for 3 hours..... We came to Edmond Specialty Hospital and worked there for 3 hours. I dropped him off and then headed over to Ben Crockers house and did his lawn. His house is for sale and they are having an open house tomorrow. It's funny! Their back yard is huge, and I knocked out their whole yard in about 30 minutes. Mowed, edged, weed eating, sprayed weeds, and picked up trash. If I had about 10 residential accounts I would let the hospitals go! Anyway.... I donated three pictures to the Edmond Fine Art's Institute and Sherrie and I were invited to their fund raising dinner tonight, at Oak Tree..... I am going to wear a suit, and look like a "Player!" Her Mah? Time to get ready!~

Love you all!

Friday Morning, March 26, 2010

Namaste,

I know I just wrote a few hours ago, but I have something I want to say.... FACEBOOK is an evil, evil, thing and people in our society are sheep being led to the slaughter! Am I a Facebook member??? Yes, I am! I have 200 or so friends, so why am I so pissed off at Facebook? I have seen four marriages end over Facebook relationships. They are not all about meeting high school boyfriends, and girlfriends online and developing a secrete relationship. Sometimes it happens due to the games available on there. People are spending hundreds of thousands of hours, playing meaningless, mind numbing games, of Farmville, Aquarium World, Mob Wars and hundreds of others. I guess I am just jealous, because I don't have time to sleep, much less, play games online for 100's of hours. While I was being beat like a drum, last night I was talking to Tyler Griffin.... He was saying how people go looking for that 20% of the grass that is greener on the other side of the fence. However, what they don't realize is that grass that is greener on the other side of the fence, is fertilized with manure. Wake up people! Take that time you are wasting online, and go out and make a difference in the world. Go feed the homeless, volunteer for a non-profit organization, become a member of Big Brother, Big Sister. Hell.... Take your own kids to a park, or a movie. Get out of your comfort zone! Sorry to bring you down this morning,, but I had to get this off my chest! If this offends you???? It must hit close to home!

Still love you all!

March 25th, 2010

Namaste,

Took the kid's to school, then hit Starbucks. It was a very busy day at work. I ran to Spicy Pickle at lunch and grabbed a sandwich, then ran to Tractor Supply to look at sprayers. I found a 25 gallon sprayer that would work great. I went back to work, and as typical on Thursday afternoons I was slammed. I left work at 4:30 and headed up to the gym. I had a one on one workout with Tyler Griffen. Tyler fights a week from tomorrow, and he is in great shape. We boxed five, five minute rounds, then grappled for five, five minute rounds. I am beat up! Tyler is an animal. I came home had a bite to eat, then went outside to assemble the sprayer. It is pretty cool! Time to turn in!

Love you all!

Wednesday, March 24th, 2010

Namaste,

Took the kid's to school, then met Chad Lovett at Starbucks for coffee and a good chat. Chad is so wise, when it comes to business. We talked for well after an hour and I got a lot out of it. Something we were talking about was health care reform, and something we decided was.... As a country we don't really want to cure any diseases, because it it such big business. I went to work and started doing some research on Cancer cost. We spent over $100 Billion dollars in the US to treat the top seven types of cancer last year. Cost associated with treating obesity, and the co-morbidity's associated with morbid obesity are well over $250 Billion dollars. I was going to look at heart disease, and associated cost but I had to do some work. I met with Ben Crocker, and Mike Giroux at lunch. We are deciding on direction of the gym. We had a guy come this evening and look around. He is looking for a location to teach Brazilian Jui-jit-su. The afternoon went pretty fast. I came home and played basketball with the kid's in the neighborhood, and got a great workout. then off to the gym for strength and conditioning. Great class..... After class I jumped in the ring with Timmy Elliott. Timmy has a fight a week from Friday. He is a stud. Came home and showered, had a bite and now I am getting ready to crash!

Tuesday, March 23rd, 2010

Namaste,

Good day! Took the kid's to school and then hit Starbucks. Off to work, and the morning was busy. At lunch Jodi and I went to Louie's and had lunch with Ben Crocker. Back to work, and our afternoon was actually very busy. I did not leave work until 5:30 and had to be at Weight Wise at 5:45. We had a small group, but it was good. I had the opportunity to sit down with Dr. Walton for about twenty minutes and discuss, health care, and health care reform. I also ask several question about getting more insurance companies to pay for gastric surgery. It is a disease and not a lifestyle choice. I let Weight Wise and went to the gym. We are getting several guys ready for upcoming fights, and I jumped in the cage with a couple of them. I got rocked right off the bat, so I did what is comfortable to me.... Ran like a girl! Just kidding. When I get rocked in my stand up, I take the fight to the ground, where I am more comfortable. Back home for a shower, and editing some pictures. I am really tired tonight! Time to turn in!

Love you all!

Monday, March 22nd, 2010

What a great day! Woke up early and downloaded the pictures from the photo shoot I did with the tattoo guy's. Due to the horrible weather we were stuck shooting inside, and I struggle with lighting. There are a few that will be pretty cool, but overall...pretty disappointed. Took the kids to school, then hit Starbucks! Off to work. As it has been lately, morning was plenty busy. I met with a very interesting gentleman at lunch. His name is Kevin Cory. Kevin is a retired Doctor, who now owns a marketing company. Kevin takes facilities that are in financial difficulty, a strategically positions them for success. Kevin met a couple of Doctors who has a Weight Loss program, and he wanted to meet me and see if I had any ideas. It just so happens, it is my Doctor and friend Dr. Greg Walton. How ironic..... I actually have a speaking engagement at Weight Wise tonight. I love speaking there. I told Kevin, how I feel about Dr. Walton, and he feels the same. I will do anything I can to help him with the new business plan for Weight Wise. I have seen what they can do to change someones life. Back to work.... Afternoon, Blah, Blah, Blah.... Slow..... I though a lot about what was next, for "The Quest". I think I may go attempt Mt. Rainier. I really need someone to go with me. The airfare is pretty cheap, under $350, and the climb under $2000. So all, in all, the trip would cost about$3000, to $3500, with expenses guides, and equipment. I am open to suggestions on sponsorship. I would gladly stand on top of Rainier, with someones banner, and take pictures. Any ideas? I really don't have time to do a ton of fund raising right now. I also would need to book this climb within the next two to three months. There are self guided climbs, which would cut down on expenses, raise the difficulty, and danger, but they require a two person minimum. After work I came home and schooled the neighborhood kid's in a game of horse. Then changed and headed down to Brick town for the Thunder Vs. Spurs. The Spur's have always been one of my favorite NBA teams. Trey wanted Italian, so we went to Zio's. As we were leaving, I saw Mike and his dad having dinner. Mike started a new job yesterday, so I had not talked to him, pretty funny. Trey and I had pizza, and salad, then walked over to the Ford Center. We only have 5 home games left, Thank God. We lost but it was a very close, very entertaining game. Trey is really developing a love for basketball. He is in charge of our brackets for the NCAA tournament so he has been paying close attention to the games. It is funny.... He use to go to the games for the cotton candy, and snow cones, no he is all about the game. Home and to bed! Now time to get another day started!

Love you all!

Namaste,

Woke up at 4:30 and could not for the life of me go back to sleep! I tossed and turned until 5:15 when I had the pleasure of taking Jordan to work. It was -10 with the wind chill, and the roads were covered with ice. When I came back home I got my shower and got ready for church. I was ask to come early and clear the sidewalks. It was really cold, but I was wearing my cold weather gear and actually started sweating. The service was OK.... But I really don't enjoy it as much when Pastor Herbert is not there, and he was out of town. I came home and Sherrie fixed some yummy chicken soup. I had a photography session with a friend of mine. The lighting was very difficult, and we had to stay indoors due to the FREEZING weather. Oh well... I'm sure we will have something useful in there! I have just been relaxing, and helping with chores this afternoon. Ready to go crash out, and get some rest.

Love you all!

Friday, and Saturday, March 19th, and 20th, 2010

Namaste,

Friday was a crazy day as are most Fridays.... Busy, Busy morning then the afternoon, struck OMG.... The afternoon drug on. I have not been sleeping well, so I took the opportunity to come home and take a nap. Sherrie and I went and got a pizza, and a couple of movies. We rented 2012, which was supposed to have great special effects, and an awesome story. It had an all star cast. The story was sooooo unbelievable, that it was hard to follow. Sherrie, Trey, and Jordan, went to a movie release party from 9:30 to 1:00am. It was for the movie New Moon, which I think is retarded, that's why I did not go! Saturday morning I got up and spring blizzard of 2010 had hit so I went to the Edmond facility and put some ice melt down. It was a loosing battle.... I came back home to wait it out. The ground temp was warm enough that the snow melted from the pavement. It will be interesting to see what it looks like in the morning. Aubrey from church called and needs Trey and I to come to church early and help with the parking lot. I am taking pictures of a friend of mine tomorrow afternoon. Her name is Melita, and she is bringing her ex-husband, and her girlfriend. They are all covered in tattoo's. It should be interesting. On a side note.... Sherrie ask me if I ever blog about how big a jerk, I am???? So here it is! Sometimes, especially when I am under a tremendous amount of stress, I lash out at those who are closest to me. I don't honestly think that this unique, or I am the only one, but as she ask, I thought I would include that today!

Namaste,

Straight up and headed to Starbucks. I started reading a new book called "From Everest to Enlightenment" great story so far. It's more about finding out who you are than a book about Everest. Been there done that! But still struggle with my own identity. Got to work and got started.... We were short handed today, so plenty to do. Ran some errands at lunch today. Went by "Best of Books" to check on Wolf's book. We have sold two copies.... I guess that's not bad. I started with seven. Well I bought eleven, kept one for myself, gave one to mom, one to Miriam, and have one saved for Mike. The lady's at Best of Books, ask if I had read the book "Peak"? I can't find it? It is suppose to be about a guy who goes to base camp but has no desire to climb. I don't understand that..... I have a serious obsession with Mt Everest now. I have bought probably 20 to 30 books on the mountain, and everyday I look at my pictures. The afternoon drug on, and on! I went over to Midwest City after work and sprayed for weeds. I got that done, but did not get anything else done. I ran out of light! Came home for an exquisite dinner, Beanie Wienies! Time to get my stuff together!

Happy St Patty's Day,

I started the day off by meeting my friends Jane and Dale at Baker Street Pub at 6:30am. They were hosting a Green Eggs and Ham for the Cancer Society and I had ordered a T-shirt from Jane, so I went by to pick it up. I headed over to Starbucks, and tried something new.... A Dark Cherry Mocha... It was awesome! Headed to work and Chad stopped by to borrow some labels. The rest of the day went really, really, slow! I came home a little early and put some weed spray down on the lawn, then got dressed and headed to the gym. I rolled with a new guy Cody, who is every bit of 115 pounds, but bad to the bone. When class started, we did a circuit and it was tough. Came home and have tons to do so better run!

Namaste,

Today is Jordan's 17th Birthday, and each one gets more difficult. No school today, so first stop was Starbucks! Yummy! On to work to get it all started. I made it through the morning, the Jodi, Cindy, Gaymarie, and I, met Sherrie, Trey, and Jordan at Louie's for lunch. Trey's birthday was Saturday, Jordan's today, and Gaymarie on Thursday, so we had birthday lunch! The afternoon drug on forever. I am donating three prints to the Edmond Fine Arts Institute, so I printed them and then went to find frames.... No bueno! I could not find what I was looking for, so off to the gym.... Mr. Griffen was in the gym working hard. He has a fight in a couple of weeks and I have never seen anyone push themselves so hard. I jumped into the cage with him and went a good five minute round, then Timmy Elliott jumped in with me. The way it works is you are in for two five minute rounds and you rotate in. It is the best cardio workout I have ever had. Running for your life is awesome exercise. Timmy threw a kick and I checked it with my shin. I have a ostrich egg on my shin. It hurts really bad, but I am really happy with my boxing. Timmy and I stand toe to toe, and just slug it out! Mano y Mano! He is awesome! When class started I went over some basic grappling with the new guys and we rolled for a good hour, then I jumped in the cage with Tyson, who has 29 professional fights. He has not been in the gym for months and he has packed on the pounds. I wore him out! Makes me happy! Tomorrow will be a very busy day. I am going to a green eggs and ham breakfast, then meeting with a gentleman at lunch who is starting a new bariatric program. He is interested in me being a spokesperson for his weight loss program. I am sparring Jeremiah Sanders tomorrow night... That is if my leg is not broken! Time to get my stuff together!

Today was really, really, Monday! Not many things went the way I wanted it to! It seemed like everything I tried to do blew up! I guess sometimes that just happens. I do know that I talked to my good buddy Chad Duggan.... Chad owns Red Rock Landscape and Design. He is doing very well, and he gave me some suggestions on spraying weeds. He suggested a solution you can make that works better than anything you can buy and it's all natural, so no herbicides! Chad always has a positive outlook, and is an inspiration. Today is Jordan's 17th Birthday! God help us!

Saturday, and Sunday, March 13th & 14th, 2010

Namaste,

Well we left for Dallas at 6:30 Saturday morning. We stopped for breakfast, and arrived at Grapevine Mills Mall at 10:00... Right on schedule! We shopped for a couple of hours then took the boy's to Fuddruckers for lunch. YUMMY! We drove over to Las Colinas and found our hotel. We stayed at the Marriott Las Colinas. Las Colinas is the yuppyville of Dallas. They have all of the cool shops, and street cafes, etc... It is also where the rich and beautiful live and play.... I may not be rich, but I am beautiful, anyway.... The hotel had an indoor pool, so we took the boy's swimming for what seemed like three hours. Then we loaded up and went to Dealy Plaza. This is the location that John F. Kennedy was assassinated. I took pictures of the boy's on the grassy knoll.... We went to the other side of the city for dinner at Dave & Busters. D&B is a restaurant with all kinds of games, and you win tickets and end up with the most expensive deck of cards in the world. We headed back to the hotel and crashed! We got up early and had an amazing sunrise! Our room was on the 12th floor and we had a balcony. The room faced east, and there is a lake just east of the hotel. We headed out about 9:00am and came home. As soon as we hit the door I loaded up my equipment and headed out to work. I finished scalping MWC hospital. I ran out of light before I got to spray. I have two residential lawns to scalp this week then some more clean up at the hospital accounts. I am going to take a few days off though. I need to chill a bit!
:-) I like being the boss!

Quick one... Kids to school, Starbucks.... Boss in town more audits. Busy morning, then we had lunch catered for the staff. After Shawn left I also left. I had some things to take care of that could not be done during the weekend, so I got them accomplished. Tomorrow is Trey's Birthday and we are taking him to Dallas for the weekend. We are also taking his friend Herman. This evening Sherrie cooked Trey his favorite dinner, and my Mom and Nanny came over to eat. Packed a little overnight bag, and filled the car up with gas! We are leaving early in the morning....

Namaste,

Typical morning... Dropped the kid's off then Starbucks. I saw Erin this morning, she is awesome. I have never seen her without a smile on her face, and she is so friendly to everyone in the coffee shop. I headed off to work, and we really got busy. Shawn Burrows our Regional Director of Operations is in town, and we had to get everything ready for his audits. Shawn showed up at noon and took us to lunch at Which Which. I ordered the Elvis which is peanut butter and banana. It was awesome. The afternoon was full of narcotic audits, and 797 audits. As soon as I got home I tried to get somethings organized for the weekend. Then I headed up to the gym. Mike Hayes and I taught some basic ground and pound tonight. We had a great class. We were going to head to St Louis for Trey's birthday, but we had to alter our plans and we are going to Dallas. I got us a room at the Marriott Las Colinas. It has an indoor swimming pool, and we are taking Trey's friend Herman. I am going to do some shopping too. I need to get ready for tomorrow first.

Namaste, Hello, Hola, and Good Day Mate,

Well today is the two year anniversary of my gastric sleeve procedure. In the last two years, I have been given a new lease on life. I am able to do things I never dreamed possible. I am not worried about my family being embarrassed to be seen in public with me. I have a renewed spirit, and energy. My goal in life now is to effect other peoples lives. Whether by giving them hope, and showing them what is possible, with a great support structure, and some serious sweat. This morning started with an email sent out to several hundred people letting them know that today was the two year anniversary of my surgery, and the one year anniversary of the launch of "Mats Quest!" Of course dropping the kids off at school then, my stop at Starbucks! Off to work. In the middle of the morning I had to pick Jodi up from the doctors office and take her home. Then I met Gaymarie for a quick bite at Mazzio's. They have a great salad bar, with sweet peas! The afternoon was full of busy work getting ready for the big boss coming tomorrow. After work I came home and got Trey and we headed down to the Ford Center for a Pregame party, and the Basketball game. We had a really good time at the game. As for the new "Quest" that was revealed today. I am going to Italy to climb Mt Blanc. I met a world renown climbing guide in Namche Bazar, last year and he is going to guide me up Mt Blanc. I also plan on raising enough money to fund a scholarship for a gastric sleeve procedure. There will be many more blogs dedicated to this new "Quest." After I sent the email out this morning, I started getting responses. It was really touching to know that even though I only have 40 subscribers to the blog... Hundreds of people read it. There are people that work with Sherrie that tell her things about what I did the days or weeks before, that she didn't even know. I am truly blessed to have so many great friends and supporters!

I Love you all!

Namaste,

Tuesday started with dropping the kid's off then hitting Starbucks. Once at work we worked on our audits, and inventories. At lunch I met with my confidant Ben "The Burrito" Crocker. We chatted a bit about our Board of Directors Meeting and just talked about everything else going on. The afternoon dug on forever. As soon as I got home Sherrie, Trey, Herman, and I went down to the Ford Center to go to the Thunder Ticket Holders Party. We were first in line and as soon as the doors opened, we ran down to the floor. I had printed some pictures of Kevin Durant, and he was signing autographs. Each one of us had him sign one of my pictures. Then we had our picture taken with Byron Mullins. We also got to do a Skills Challenge with Thabo Sefalosha. I did the skills challenge perfectly and in a time of 23 seconds. I still had the lead when we left. I was wearing dress clothes too. They also had hot dogs, popcorn, and drinks. It was very fun. Tomorrow night we are going to see the Thunder play the Hornets. Time to get it together! Tomorrows blog is very important!

Love you all!

Good Evening,

I know... You thought I was going to say Namaste! Monday morning was a bear! Woke up several times during the night and tossed and turned. Got up and was thinking about going for a run, since the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon is only a month away, but the weather was crappy. I took a shower, then contemplated writing on my new book. I am doing a new book on tattoo's and body modifications or piercings. I have a couple of models set up and looking for a few more. My theory is that every tattoo tells a story, or means something to the person that has it. It is a symbol of where they were in their journey of life, a significant time in their life, or a life changing event, like, birth, death, marriage or divorce. I have eight, and each one tells a story, or I can relate to a situation I was in when I got them. Five of my eight are dedicated or symbols of my love for my family. Many people would be surprised to know I also use to be pierced in several places! That I can tell you was a phase! I do not have a fear of needles, so piercing was a natural progression. I am over that phase. I took the kids to school, then Starbucks. I got to work and got busy. We have our Regional Director of Operations coming to town on Thursday. We need to get our audits, and clean room testing done before he gets here. As soon as work was done I came home and changed for the gym. I loosened up, and jumped in the cage with Timmy Elliott. We boxed for one five minute round, then I jumped out to start class. We had a great group, and we worked technique then sparred. I got such a great work out that I came home drenched. I am going to get my stuff together for tomorrow, and hit the hay!

Love you all!

Namaste,

Today was a rainy sleepy day. I did not work outside today due to the weather, but that is not a bad thing. My hands are still very sore. I don't know if I can even make a fist for class tomorrow night, anyway I guarantee I will try. This morning I ran by the office to see if I left my ring there last Friday. It was there, so I hit my Starbucks on my way to pick up Trey. We worked in the parking lot at church, then went into service. After church I came home and picked up Sherrie, and our little friend Tommy. (Who we were watching today) We headed down to Norman for church at Journey then a surprise birthday party for Clark Mitchell. Clark turned 40 today and his wife Robin put a party together for him. It was nice to see some old friends.... We headed home and because of the weather Tommy and I hung out and watched some Sponge Bob. We had a nice dinner then Sherrie and I went for a walk. We are suppose to take Trey to St Louis this coming weekend, but I am trying to talk him into a closer location. 500 miles each way for a 48 hours for a visit is really pushing it! I need to get my stuff together for the week!

Love you,

Mat

Namaste,

Well like I said I was going to start at 6:30! I got to the first property at 7:10, and 10 hours later I went home. I did not get everything done that I wanted t0 but got quite a bit accomplished. Tomorrow I will hit one of the properties and just do some clean up work. My hand are sooooo sore. The crepe myrtles were murder. It took me a good three hours just to finish them. I am going to fix dinner!

Much Love,

Namaste,

Well just like I said the other day about the cell phone bill!!!!! Today was Credit Card day! I hate credit card day as much as cell phone day, but what the heck are you gonna do? Kid's to school, then Starbucks. I have not seen Erin in several days, last time she was in she was discussing her broken dryer with her dad.... Anyway, off to work to get the morning started. Middle of the morning I got a message from Sherries brother and the truck we were going to Dallas to buy from them is having some issues and we had to post pone again! So no trip to Dallas tonight. In the afternoon I went outside and pruned some crepe myrtles. It was sooooo sloooooow at work today! After work I came home and Sherrie took me to dinner at Othello's Italian Kitchen then we went by Home Depot. Back to the house to get my trailer loaded for tomorrow. I am going to start at 6:30am and it will take me until dark tomorrow to get the spring clean up done. All of my properties are in bad disrepair. It will take weeks to get them in shape, but I have to get started.

Much Love!

Namaste,

Thursday was the beginning of the lawn season for me. I started my commercial lawn business today, with the spring cleaning, and pruning season upon us! I picked up two 55 gallon trash bags full of litter, and then started trimming some bumpass grass. 10 minutes later I had cut the crap out of my left hand. I was squirting blood, and it really stings. I cleaned up a few flower beds, then headed over to Oak Tree to do a quote for a friend of Roger and Cindy Enix. The lawn is HUGE. Crappy thing is my big mower will not fit in his back yard so the whole thing will have to be push mowed. Tomorrow after work Sherrie and I are driving to Dallas to have dinner with her brother, then right back home. So much to do this weekend, can't stay in Dallas to long!

Much Love,

Mat

Namaste,

So it's the third of the month which means..... Cell phone bill is due! That sucks so much I can not even tell you! I need to analyze our bill and see where we can make some changes. It is $223.00 and that is just ridiculous! Dropped the kids off at school, stopped at Starbucks, then on to work. I got there pretty early today. Knocked out my morning duties, and then met with a young lady, Melita at lunch. Melita has 42% of her body covered in tattoo's, and she is a special needs teacher here in Edmond. We are going to do a photo shoot on the 20th, of this month. She is super cool, and each tattoo tells a story, and by all accounts she has a lot of stories. The afternoon drug on. After work I came home and had to have Jordan to work by 5:00, came home got dressed for the gym and headed up. I got a pretty good sweat before class even started. We did some circuits, and forms, then I tweaked my back again. I came home and took a hot shower. I guess I need to go see a doctor????

Love you all!

Tuesday, February 2nd, 2010

Namaste,

Tuesday, Tuesday, Tuesday! Dropped the kid's off, then to Starbuck's. Straight to work.... Morning went by pretty quickly, because I needed to be at a business builders group luncheon at 11:15. I went as a guest of my friend Jenniafer Walters, but as it turns out Miriam Nida, and Caleb Brown are also part of that group. It was very interesting to see the networking. I just don't know if I have enough time to invest in one more venture. They meet twice a month for an hour and a half. They also have business after hours, and mixers. Anyway.... It was interesting listening to other people and how they market themselves. I can go with "World Renown Photographer," "Motivational Speaker," "Landscape and Design," "Pharmaceutical Representative," "MMA Gym Owner Operator," "Father and Husband," or a plethora of other things I have my hand in! Back to work for a long, long afternoon. I headed out about an hour early. I came home and relaxed for a few minutes before heading to a memorial service for one of my co-workers at the hospital. Mary Lester was 56 years old, and kinda cranky old lady, but she was a very special lady. She really loved my mother, and several times when mom was in the hospital Mary would go sit with her. You have to respect that! Last week Mary was admitted to our hospital with worsening Congestive Heart Failure. As she was coming in I said..."Mary we are going to name hall 200, "The Mary Lester Memorial hall!" She stuck out her tongue and flipped me off! That was the last time I saw her.... Fitting! I ran by the gym just to check in, and I couldn't help myself.... I put on my boxing shorts, and got in the cage with Chad "O-G" Ashlock, then a couple of rounds with the infamous Ben "The Burrito" Crocker! I beat Ben like a drum! Not really. Ben made me bite my tongue, so I came home. I am getting ready to go get some ice cream as I think it will help me feel better! :-)

Love you all!

Namaste,

Monday was crazy! Very busy morning. Dropped the kids off at school, and then hit ????? Yep! Starbucks, for my morning clarity! Off to work... The morning went by pretty quickly, because there is always plenty to do on Monday morning. I ran to Lowe's at lunch to see if they had the replacement parts I need for my sprayer. No luck. Hit Which-Which for lunch, then back to work. The afternoon drug, on and on, and on! After work I ran home and changed into my Muay Thai gear, then headed to the gym. I got a good sweat, before class ever started. I worked on the combo's we learned at PMA. When class started I could have swore Mike Giroux was trying to kill us! I tweaked my back again, so I came home and took a hot shower. I had some Brussel sprouts for dinner! Yummy! Time to get my crap together for the rest of week!

Love You All!

Namaste,

Sunday started off with..... Any guess????? Starbucks! Yep! I stop at Starbucks every single day of my life! People think I am crazy, but much like getting punched in the face, it starts my day out right, and keeps me happy, so whats the harm? I got Trey a hot chocolate then headed to church to work in the parking lot. Church was great! Our pastor has been doing a series called "Sexual Revolution!" Basically talking about the relationship between a husband and wife. Yesterday, the title was "Better Sex!" Had I known that that I probably would have either sent him to the kid's church, or left him at home. It was a little uncomfortable, but I kept looking at him and he was just staring at the floor. Came home and worked on cleaning the back yard. I gave the trampoline away, and then scalped the yard. I took the mower to the car wash and cleaned it up real good. After I came home I cleaned up and then Mike came by at 5:00 and we loaded up and headed to the Thunder game. We were playing the Toronto, Raptors, and the game was not even close. We had fun which is the goal anyway. This week is going to be ridiculous! My lawn care contracts start today, and we have to go to Dallas, I have a meeting tomorrow, and Wednesday at lunch, and a Memorial Service for a lady at work tomorrow evening. Time to get it started!

Love you all!
