Namaste,
Saturday started out with a Muay Thai class at PMA. I think it was very good for me.... I learned a ton: However, it was very basic stuff for Mike Giroux. The instructor Jeff Jimmo was awesome. He could tell Mike had Muay Thai training so I think we got a little extra attention. Jeff walked up to me and said.... You don't know who I am, but I know who you are! That made me feel pretty good. I guess Jason Epps had told him about the "Quest!" After the session I came home with every intention to wash the cars and work in the lawn, what happened was my eye lids grew heavy, and I took an hour and a half nap. I jumped up and went to Home Depot to look at lawn vacuums. I found one that I think will work. I came home and got ready to head to Bricktown for the fights last night. I got in the ring before the National Anthem and said a short piece about Nathan Johnson. We earned in between $300 and $400 which is not as much as I had hoped but I guess I can't complain. Our fighters did outstanding. Trisha Clark, one of our pro fighters, got rocked in the first round, but she came back with a vengeance, throwing some of the meanest Thai clinch knee's I have ever seen. She dominated her fight and won with a unanimous decision. The promoters left a bad taste in our mouths, but what can you do. I guess they made promises to the fighters that they did not keep. One of the fighters from another squad talked a little crap to me, and I got a little side ways with him, pissed Sherrie off a bit. In the heat of the moment, after the week I had.... Not smart for some "Thug" to try to start something! Anyway.... That's a whole different blog! I need to get a shower and get to church!
Love you all!

Good Morning,
Friday was quite busy... Jordan woke up ill, so she stayed home. Dropped Trey off at school, then to Starbucks. Had a good chat with my best friend Mike Champlin. I had told him about the stress of the week, and he always has a way of putting things into perspective. Got to work and as usual it was a cluster. Made it through the morning, then met with Ben Crocker at lunch. We discussed what to say at the fights tonight, in regards to gathering donations for the Nathan Johnson Memorial Fund. Back to work for a long, long afternoon. We did not leave until almost 6:00pm. Sherrie grilled some Salmon for dinner, then we went and ran a few errands. We went to bed at 8:30 and watched some of the Olympics. We were suppose to head to Dallas after work today but Sherrie's brother Bruce was in the hospital all night Thursday with Vertigo, and a Virus. We will try again next weekend. It will probably work out better anyway. This morning Mike Giroux and I are going to a Muay Thai seminar taught be Jeff Jimmo at Premier Martial Arts. Trey trained at PMA for three years. I always wanted to train there. I have stayed friends with the owner Jason Epps, he is a solid guy. Time to get the day started.

Namaste,
Thursday started out just like most days... Took the kids to school, and then hit Starbucks. My new friend Erin was there already, and we chatted for a minute before heading to work. I really kicked it into high gear, and then had to head over to Midwest city for a meeting with their maintenance director to discus all of the work needing to be done over there. We walked the property, and then met with the administrator, of both facilities for a bite to eat at Pizza Inn! After I left that meeting I went by Century Martial Arts, and picked up some things we had ordered for the gym. I got a couple of new pairs of boxing gloves, and some new Muay Thai fighting shorts. Back to work, and the afternoon flew by. I went to the gym and we had a bunch of new guys. We worked on chokes, and then I rolled with Ben a time or two. Got called and had to head back to work for about 20 minutes, then back home to get things started for tomorrow! After work tomorrow I think we are going to head to Ft Worth to buy a pick up! I need to be back here by noon Saturday for a MMA class at PMA.
Much Love!

Namaste,
Wednesday was hump day... Work was crazy.... If I have never told you I work in a hospital where there are 10 women to every guy. Today there were two guy's in the building, of which I was one. This could be a pretty good deal if you work at Hooters, or Night Trips, but this is a hospital where most of the women are post menopausal, and those who are not are a little crazy! I came home at lunch and read a couple chapters in my book. I am reading a story about George Mallory called "The lost explorer!" George Mallory was climbing Everest in 1924 when he disappeared. He was found in 1999 and this story tells about trying to figure out whether or not Mallory and his climbing partner Sandy Irving summited or not. Irving had a camera with him, so they are actually trying to find Sandy Irving's body, when they find George Mallory. This is such a good book, I can hardly put it down. After work I came home and got Trey then headed straight to the gym I was going to work Mike Giroux out before he had to leave for a memorial service. We sparred really hard, and Mike beat me up really good. He bloodied my nose, busted my lip, and caught me with an elbow to the forehead that left me with a nice goose egg! Can't wait to get back to the gym tomorrow. I will be speaking at the cage fights Saturday night, asking for donations to the Nathan Johnson Memorial Fund. We have three of our best fighters going into the cage Saturday night. Ian Freeman, Travis Chyzy, and Trisha Elliott. I have no doubt they will all win big. Better get my stuff ready for tomorrow!
I love you all!

Namaste,
Well.... Tuesday was a pretty crappy day. Nathan Johnson, the young man who was injured at the Toughman contest passed away at 2:21pm. Nathan made an impact on everyone he came in contact with. Our phones and email have been blowing up with people wanting to know how they can help. I am still going to have a bake sale next week. I do not have a date set, but will do so today. At this time all we can ask for are prayers and ideas on how best to help his family.
All my love!

Namaste,
Monday was Monday. Work was fine..... I worked with Cindy in the morning and Jodi in the afternoon. I met with Ben Crocker at lunch, and we discussed how best to help the injured fighters family. Half of the club have a balls to the wall approach, while the other half have a let's give the family time to grieve, slow and easy approach. I see both sides of the argument! I think we could speak during this weeks cage fights and get some donations. I am planning on holding a bake sale maybe next week! I will raise $250.00 and that is about all I can commit to right now. The fighter Nathan Johnson is doing very poor, and as of yesterday they held a wedding service for his fiancee. She is six months pregnant with his child, and the family felt it was important, before they started harvesting his organs. Very sad situation. After work I headed straight to the gym.... I rolled with Tyler, and Chad then held pads for Giroux. I stayed for class, then the Board of Directors along with a few selected people met at Adam's mom's office. We had three members of Nathans family attend the meeting. We needed to hear what the families needs are, and how we can best help. I came home mentally exhausted and just need to veg out. Time to get the day started.

Namaste,
Once again I want to explain Namaste.... It means bless the spirit within! Anyway, let's go back to Friday. Up early to get the kid's ready for school, then my stop at Starbucks. Off to work, then errands at lunch. I had to pick up the tire for my mower, and make a few other stops. The afternoon went quickly, but I needed to bug out an hour early. I got home and we got headed down to the Farmers Market to help get the fights going. Sherrie and I stopped on the way down to grab a bite to eat. Friday night every thing went off without a hitch. We went 1 and 1, but our fighter that lost Adam Pratt, was invited to come back and fight again.
Saturday morning I got up and headed to the gym. Travis and Tyler, were the only one's who showed up, but we worked really, really hard! I came home and worked outside for a while. I went by Home Depot, and picked up a few things I needed. Gas cans, pre-emergent, and various other things. I came home and got the mower out, and even though it was raining outside, I scalped the lawn, and put out some weed killer. Sherrie and I had to have Sean to the fights by 6:00, so we went and got a quick bite to eat. We were doing well, and everything was going great until, our fighter Adam had a very good bout going on and his opponent went down and started having seizures. They had him in the ring for over an hour before the rushed him to OU trauma. As of right now he is doing very poorly, and his prognosis is poor. Adam is a wreck, and I do not know what to do to help him. After they got him out of the ring there was quite a delay getting the action back going. All of our guys withdrew from the event, and most of the guy's went to the hospital to support the fighters family.
Rest did not come easy.... I was awake most of the night, so I got up and headed to church. I worked in the parking lot, and then into service. I was very distracted during the service. I came home and had a bite to eat then headed out to work in the pouring rain. I worked on the fence, fixed the walk way by the gate, worked in the garage, and in my storage building. Anything I could do to keep busy. It would have been easy, to sit around the house and mope, but I chose not to! Tonight mom made dinner for us. Chicken, squash, sweet potatoes, and macaroni. It was great. We came home to try and get ready for the week. I need to make some flyers for the landscape business, and some cards. Time to get going!
Love you all! Please pray for our fighter Adam Pratt, and the injured fighter Nathan Johnson!

Good Morning!
Thursday started with my typical stop at Starbucks, after dropping the kid's off at school. Got busy at work, then a quick lunch. The afternoon seemed to drag..... I guess because I had so much to do after work. I stopped by the gym and dropped off some tickets for the guy's who had bought them, then down to the Louie's in Moore for the "Weigh In's!" I helped organize the fighters, helped answer questions, and sold tickets to their families. I have sold 90 general admission, and 17 VIP tickets. I have 10 GA and 8 VIP left for tonight, then have to start working on tomorrow nights tickets, of which I have 91 GA, and 25 VIP. It is cool to hear our name on the radio and see it on the posters. Today will be crazy as I will be ready to head to the fights by noon! Time to get ready for the day!

Namaste,
Today was my anniversary. Sherrie and I have been married for twenty years, which is 140 dog years. We both had very busy days..... I had to get the kids to school, and continue to sell tickets for the Tough Man Fights this weekend. I worked with Cindy yesterday morning, and then Gaymarie covered the afternoon. We are pretty busy at work now, so the afternoon went really quick. We were running so far behind that I left work and headed straight to the gym. We had a small class, but it was really good! We did stand up, and my skills are improving in that area, because Travis kicked my A$$ the other day then gave me some pointers. At lunch I met Sherrie at the new Louie's at Edmond Road, and Western. It is just 3/4 of a mile away from the house. Randy, who was the store manager at the Louie's by my work, opened the new store and it is set up really cool. Randy was a sponsor of the first "Quest" and he saw I brought Sherrie flowers to lunch, he ask what the occasion was? When I told him, he congratulated us, then ended up comping the meal. He is an awesome guy. If you are in Edmond, and are looking for a great meal! Louie's at Edmond Road and Western! Time to get it started!
Love you all!

Good Morning,
Tuesday was equally busy!!!! Had plenty to get accomplished before work.... Dropping the kids off at school, running by Dr. Wallace's office, stopping by Starbucks. I have been running into the same lady at Starbucks for the last couple of weeks. Her name is Erin, and she is the swimming coach for Edmond North. She is really cool, and I am going to ask her about photographing her swim team in action. I was going to do it yesterday, but the opportunity never came up. Work was fine. I met Joy and Caleb Brown at lunch yesterday. They are a great young couple who have their act together. I am going to help coordinate a house warming party for them. They just built a beautiful new home just West of town. Back to work! After work I ran home and picked up Trey, and our neighbor Herman. We had to make a couple of stops on the way. We stopped by the store and picked up a few things, then had to stop by the gym. We had dinner at Chelino's. Mike met us there, then we walked over to the game. We were playing the Dallas Mavericks. We beat them by 13 points, and it is only the second time we have ever beat the Mav's! Home to take some drugs and hit the sack!
Today, Sherrie and I celebrate our 20th Anniversary! She is an amazing Wife, Mother, Friend, and companion. She supports me in whatever crazy decisions I make. Without her I am nothing! She keeps me grounded and humble. She gets more beautiful everyday, and when we are apart, I am thinking of her! Kinda sappy but true!
All my love!

Namaste,
Monday morning was a slap in the face. After just a few days of no schedule, no hurry, no worry, it was time to go back to work. Work was fine, other than the fact that I sometimes feel like a caged animal! Just kidding! Not really! I had a bunch of errands to run at lunch. I had to swing by Dr. Wallace's office, Ben Crocker's house, W&W Tire, and Walgreens. The afternoon went pretty quick, I guess because we had plenty to do. As soon as I left work, I had to swing back by W&W Tire, and pick up my wheel for the mower. I need to give her a name.... Help me with suggestions! Anyway I came home and put the tire on the mower, and took the other one off to drop off today. I got dressed and headed to the gym. I stretched my back pretty good, but that didn't seem to help. I worked out with Travis Chyzy. He is an animal!!!!! We got a pretty good workout, and then home to shower, eat a quick salad, and then run Jordan's friend Kevin back to Del City. I realized on the way home from Del City, that I could not find my medication, so Jordan and I went back by the gym to see if I had left it in my locker. I had..... It was funny to see Jordan kick the bags. She could not get the swing of it, and kept kicking the bag with her toe's! She was funny! We came home and I got my stuff ready for today and then went to bed. I am feeling a little under the weather. Not really felling bad, but have this itchy, scratchy, throat! I will survive. I need to get ready for the day!
Much Love!

Namaste,
HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!!!!!! Just a quick note..... We left College Station at 7:00am, and made a quick stop for kolache's at Rolf's. It is one of our favorite breakfast stops. We hit Highway 6, and I kicked it up a notch. We were in heavy, heavy for until we got to Waco. We has to stop and get a quick cup of coffee, and then hit I-35 North. We cruised North through Dallas, and then hit a heavy snow storm and had to slow it down, We were very careful, and made it to the house in just under six hours. We unloaded the car, and then the work began... After I picked up the lawn equipment the other day, I put it in the garage and then there was not enough room for two cars. I tried to put the mower in my storage building out back, but it is 80 inches long, and the back was sticking out by two feet. Soooo I had to rearrange the garage. Moving a bunch of stuff to the building, and then placing the mower sideways up against the wall in front of Sherries car. By doing that she has two inches of clearance. I had to remove a table that was built into the wall, and all of my tools in the garage. It was a chore. It was also under 30* outside. We were going to cook a big dinner for Valentines day, but we were so tired that we went and got a Veggie Pizza, and some salad mix. It was quick and easy. Since dinner we have been doing laundry, and getting stuff ready for the week. I guess I better get busy! I am going to post a few pictures on my www.matjones.net website under the Landscape tab!
Much Love!

Since dinner we have been doing laundry, and getting stuff ready for the week. I guess I better get busy! I am going to post a few pictures on my www.matjones.net website under the Landscape tab!

Thursday and Friday, February 11th & 12th, 2010
Namaste,
Thursday morning we woke up and watched the news, and it was all bad. There was a winter storm covering all of Southern Oklahoma, and Northern Texas. Boy were they right! We considered going west to Santa Fe, but Sherrie's brothers wife really wanted us to come to Texas... Our plans were to drive from OKC through Dallas, through Houston, and all the way into Galveston. It should take about seven hours, but we started getting snow just South of Norman, and it crazy snowed all the way until we were just North of Houston. Thank God my car is all wheel drive. It did awesome. I bet we saw 100 or more vehicles off the road, and some pretty serious wrecks. We got into Galveston around five in the evening, and went for a drive down Seawall Boulevard. Seawall was built as a barrier to keep the Gulf from flooding the city. It runs almost the entire length of the island, and everything is either located on the Seawall or the Strand which is the historic district. It was cold and rainy, and there was absolutely no one out, so we decided to drive down to the Strand and have dinner. There is a very nice restaurant on the pier called Willy G's.... It is fresh seafood, and we really enjoyed it. We got back in the car and drove around a bit more, then headed to Wal Mart because Sherrie forgot to bring her swimming suit. We went back to the hotel and got in the hot tub, then back to the room to crash. I woke up at 5:00 am the next morning, and went out to catch the sunrise. Ugggggg.... There will be no sunrise due to the fact that it is pouring rain, and 36 degree's. I did find a few things to take pictures of.... I found a group of surfers out in the water at about 7:00 am, and got some great shots! We had breakfast back at the hotel, and then went to take the ferry across the bay. It wall way to cold, and we were the only people on the ferry.... I took some pictures, but nothing really spectacular. I stood on the front of the ferry, with gale force winds, in the pouring rain.... The dolphins were playing but I was not fast enough to catch more than a fin. We went to Tortuga for lunch, and shared a sampler platter. Then back to the hotel to take a nap. Sherrie did some homework, and I slept for about an hour. At 5:00 we headed down to the Strand for Mardi Gras. Galveston celebrates Mardi Gras second only to New Orleans. They were expecting 30,000 people for the celebration but only 3,000 showed up. It was soooooo cold and rainy that people didn't come out. We walked around until 6:15 then went to a little restaurant we visit called Yaga's. We took our time then at 7:15 we went out and the "Krewe's" were throwing beads.... That was a blast. We got probably 200 or 300 strands of beads. We stayed for the parade and we were running around with the crazy's, so we warmed up a bit! As soon as the parade was over we sprinted back to the car, and sped back to the hotel. I am a little under the weather, and I was worn out. I woke up at 6:00 this morning, and went out to take pictures but there was nothing!!!!!!! I went back to the hotel and we cleaned up then we went down to breakfast, and then headed to College Station, which is where we are right now. We are having a double date with Sherrie's brother and his wife. We have no kid's and we are going to dinner. We made it from Galveston to College Station in two hours, and 14 minutes. That is really good. We are getting ready to go to dinner so I will end this here, but I will try and post more tomorrow. We have to head home pretty early because Sherrie is missing her baby's... (Boomer too!)

Namaste,
I am soooo glad Wednesday is over! I was suppose to pick up my new lawn equipment today around 12:30.... The guy did not even call me until 2:30 to say he could meet me at 3:30. I ran home around 9:30 and picked up the trailer. I kept everything caught up at work, because I knew it would be go on a moments notice. I got everything picked up and brought it home, unloaded it. The mower has a flat tire, but the guy I bought it from is going to pay for that. The mower is really cool. It is a Snapper ZTR. You drive it with a joystick like a video game. I was going to go back to work, but Jodi said everything was done, and she was getting ready to leave, so I got a few things together for the trip, and headed to the gym. I went a couple of rounds with Tyler Griffen before practice started. My back was not feeling so good, but I made it. We did a cardio circuit and it was good! I came home and showered, then continued to get things together. It is snowing like crazy in Southern Oklahoma right now. I am having second thoughts about driving to Texas. My car is acting stupid too. I had Danny look at it yesterday, and he did not know what it was doing. I jumped on it and it responded like a race car, soooo I hope it was just acting like a difficult woman yesterday. I guess I better get my crap together!
Love you all!

Namaste,
Busy, busy day! Not really at work, so much, but I met with one of the ladies from the Oklahoma Epilepsy Board of Directors, that Sherrie and I serve on. We are having a quarterly meeting Thursday night and we will miss it, as we will be in Galveston, Texas. Jenniafer is soooo passionate about the association it is refreshing to be involved with people who put others first. Not really what we do in our culture very much. After work I ran home and picked up Jordan, and we headed down to Norman to watch OU play Texas Tech. I was not very impressed with the game but it was Blake Griffen night, and Blake came back to receive the NCAA Sportsman of the year award. He is a great guy who I have followed for years. He went to high school just down the street, and I use to see him at lunch three times a week. I also use to kid his parents that Jordan was their future daughter in law. Blake was the number one draft pick in the NBA lottery last year. He is a great kid and deserves the best. OU lost the game by one point after being behind by 14 points. They are very bad, and I have no idea how they got back to within one point? Time for bed!
Love you all!

Namaste,
I had a bad case of the Mondays today. I made a huge investment with this new lawn equipment, and it caused some serious nausea today. I always have second thoughts and start freaking out when I spend money! This new venture could really create some margin for our family and maybe free up some more time for me to do some mission work. I also have a need to get to England soon and see my buddy Wolf. I sent him an email today and told him I was freaking out and he had some wonderful words of wisdom. I truly cherish his friendship. After work I went straight to the gym, and had a wonderful workout. We sparred really hard, and I feel really good after tasting some of my own blood. I feel like I did really good. I stayed after practice and worked with Travis Chyzy. He has a fight coming up in two weeks, and I outweigh him by 40 pounds, but it makes him work extra hard. He has such a big heart! I came home showered and got my crap ready for tomorrow. I am taking Jordan to meet Blake Griffen tomorrow night. He is being recognized at the OU basketball game and meeting some fans. I introduced Jordan to his parents a couple of years ago as their future daughter in-law. great people! Time to turn in!

Saturday, and Sunday, February 6th, and 7th, 2010
Namaste,
Saturday morning I got up early and went to the gym. Tyler Griffen puts on a heck of a cardio class on Saturday mornings. I kinda strained my self a little and lost the feeling in my left leg. It has to do with my lower back. I came home and took some pain meds, rested a bit, then started cleaning the house for the folks from the gym who were coming over to watch the UFC fights. There was one of the guys fighting on the pay per view who has working out at our gym. Melvin Guilliard, is from New Orleans, but has been training here in the city, and came and rolled in our cage a couple of times before his fight last night. Melvin won in a unanimous decision! We had probably 25 people over, and everyone brought food! It was great! Earlier in the evening Sherrie and I went and made a deposit on the lawn equipment. I am sooo happy that we sealed that deal. I feel like I got a great deal! It was really a God send!
Sunday morning we were having a special day at church. We were calling it "Big Day", and "Each on Reach one!" Everyone was suppose to bring a guest. Trey invited my mom, and even though she spends 20 hours a week in church, she came to the early service with us. I worked in the parking lot before service and after service to help out due to the large crowd. Funny thing was the sermon was titled "Sexual Revolution!" Soooo I am sitting with my mother, and my son hearing about what the bible says about sex! I think Jordan should have been there! Sherrie didn't make it because she had to have Jordan at work at 9:30. Tonight we went to Dustin and Jessica Forgues house to watch the Super Bowl. Dustin cooked all kinds of great food! We had a good time. I need to get everything ready for the week.

Namaste,
Work was pretty darn slow! Our Patient count is way down, and it doesn't seem like anyone really cares????? Not my problem.... The pharmacy works on a management fee, so we are paid the same whether we have one patient or 100! After work Sherrie and I went to look at the lawn equipment, I wrote about yesterday. It is exactly what I need, and the price is very right, just trying to secure the financing right now! Should know by Monday. I am going to call him today, and ask him if he will take a deposit, until I have everything in place. We went and had a bite to eat then went grocery shopping. I must have slept wrong last night, because my neck is killing me. May be a little stress in there also! I had a bunch of prints made yesterday, and I am going to change out a bunch of stuff here in the gallery!
Much Love!

Namaste,
Thursday at work was pretty slow, so we got most of our Friday stuff done already. We have audits to do today..... Anyway, My meeting at MWC got cancelled at lunch. Ed the guy I was suppose to meet with is very ill, and said we could meet next week. I have already been approved and my information has been submitted to their AP department. I am meeting a guy this evening to look at a mower and sprayer. I hope it is what I am looking for. I still don't know where I am taking Sherrie next week. My friend Clark suggested Possum Kingdom Lake. I looked at their web sites and it looks awesome, but kinda expensive. I don't know what to do.... Last night my friend Stacy came to the gym to workout. I love working out with Stacy, because she is a friggin animal, and pushes me, as hard as I push her. She has an awesome hook, and my shoulders hurt from holding pads for her. We are having a little UFC party here on Saturday night. Just found out that one of our instructors eloped Monday, so we are going to celebrate his nuptials! Time for work!

Whats up everyone????
Very quick blog tonight? I took the kids to school this morning, then hit Starbucks, for my morning latte! Off to work, to bust it out for a couple of hours. I met with Tony Brummitt for lunch today. He is not only my insurance agent but one of my best friends and advisers. We talked about insurance, my new business, my old business, and everything else. After work I came home for a bit, and picked up Trey. He came to the gym with me tonight, and he worked really hard. He has not been to fight club for several months, but I think he enjoyed himself. Trey is a great martial artist. His conditioning is a little off, but he is in way better shape than he was even a year ago. Sherrie had class tonight and she had a test, but made it home before Trey and I did! Anyway.... Tomorrow I have a meeting at noon in Midwest City. I am signing my contract for their landscaping service!
Love you all!

Namaste,
Busy, Busy day! School was out again..... For what I do not know! Sure we had snow and ice last week, but it is all gone now! I hit Starbucks on my way to work, then on to work. I am still trying to figure out where to take Sherrie for our anniversary. There is nothing going on anywhere???? I am still leaning towards going to Galveston. It is a long way down there for just a few days though. After work I came home and got Trey and his buddy Herman. Trey wanted to go to roosters for dinner. Herman had never been there, and those boys flat out tore up the chicken, and okra. The game was very entertaining. At half time I went down to the lower level to see my friend Joy and her husband Caleb. I made the boys run back to the car after the game, and raced home to get ready for the day. I have a meeting today with Tony Brummitt to discuss my insurance for the landscaping business. After that.... Gym time!

Namaste,
Monday morning the roads were still pretty icy, school was cancelled so I drove Sherries car to her work, and she followed me in mine. My car is all wheel drive so it gets around really well. I headed into work, and OMG, was it a Monday! I met with Ben Crocker, and Mike Giroux at lunch. Ben and Mike are the two other officers for the Fight Club. We had to have a quarterly meeting, and what a better way than at Louie's? After work I headed to the gym, and got a great workout! Maybe too good! My neck, elbows, back, left big toe, and pride all hurt this morning! I have been working out with Nigel Dawson lately. Nigel is 6'5", and about 300 pounds. He tosses me around like a rag doll, but I love the challenge. I got confirmation on my second large contract for my landscaping company. This will keep me very busy, for the growing season. One more huge contract, and I may end up self employed!

Namaste,
Saturday evening, Aubrey from church called and ask if I could come in early to help spread ice melt on the side walks. I picked up Trey from mom's at 7:30 and we got to the church a few minutes later. I helped spread ice melt for half an hour, then I got one of my scrapers out of the car and walked around the building, scraping the remaining spots that still had ice. I went in for service, and although there were only 500 people for the first service, it was great. I came home, and Sherrie fixed a good lunch, and I started working on this new laptop. After what I figure was about 7 to 8 hours of snow and ice removal on Saturday, I was hurting all over. I pretty much took the rest of the day off. I took an hour nap, and then edited some pictures. I feel like I wasted Sunday, but my body needed it! What is on the agenda for this week??? I need to finalize the contracts for my lawn service, and figure out where I am taking Sherrie for our anniversary. This is #20 coming up, and I wanted to do something spectacular, but we don't have much time to do anything big. Not to mention the fact that we have two kid's, a dog, a cat, a mortgage, etc.... Any suggestions would be nice. I have updated the www.matsquest.com website, with some new information. Asking for suggestions for this years "Quest!" Help me! The fund raising should be much easier this year. We learned a lot last year!
Love you all!
