Monday & Tuesday 27th & 28th of April

Namaste,

Monday was fairly uneventful.... Took it pretty slow, I have a broken toe on my left foot, and the run on Sunday may have stressed it a bit. I am learning how to push through the pain, and use it. Sherrie and I started focusing on the dinner following the tournament. We sent several letters to local restaurants. If we can get a little bit from several people, it should be no problem. Tuesday work went by really fast. I had a meeting at 6:30 with Paula Lewis from Oklahoma Therapy Institute. I think it went well... We got a commitment from Dr. Keller at Foundation... Yea! I also found out that Crimson Creek Golf Club was going to donate two greens fees, and carts for the silent auction. This next part may make me cry...... MY GREAT FRIEND KAY MORTON, OWNS JON RIC MEDICAL SPA AND SALON. WITH THE HELP OF MY GOOD FRIEND JOY BROWN WE PICKED UP A DONATION FROM KAY FOR THE SILENT AUCTION. IT BLEW ME AWAY..... KAY DONATED A SPA PACKAGE, AND HCG TREATMENT. BY FAR OUR BIGGEST DONATION. Very humbling! Things are looking great!

God Bless!

Hollar at cho boy!

I know.... It was an amazing day! Met Jason, and April at their house at 5:30. April came down with the flu... She was our 12k runner in the marathon relay. Holy cow! We drove down to the OKC Memorial, where the start was. Jason was running the first leg, and it was a 10k. Jason finished the first leg in about an hour, which for the starting leg is great, figuring it would take 10 to 15 minutes, just to make it across the starting line. I had the second leg, which started out as a 5k.... Sherrie and the kid's were nervous about going to park where I wanted them. So I drove them over there and parked the car, got out and ran back to my starting point. That was an extra 2.5k. When "J" passed the timing device off to me I had my Ipod cranked, listening to some Disturbed, and got into a groove. Let me tell you a couple of side notes. 1.) I am use to running by myself. 2.) The area I run in around my gym is very, very, flat! 3.) I was being passed by little old ladies! (And some young one's) I found a group that was running at my pace and we stuck together. I went out really fast, but my second mile was by far the fastest. I figured sub-eight minutes. Now I will tell you my secret. ;-) It was all downhill, with a kick'n tail wind! I'm talking about 30 to 40 mph winds! Third mile???? What happens when you run down a hill? You have to run back up a hill.... BRUTAL! I made it to my check point at 27 minutes. Pretty darn good for a novice. April's dad was suppose to take the exchange from me, but because of traffic and confusion, he didn't make it to the check point until I had been there for fifteen minutes. I borrowed this ladies cell phone and she called Sherrie for me. getting around the city today was a chore. Every road blocked, and once you were inside the marathon loop it was difficult to get out! We finely matched up and we headed over to Stars and Stripes park, where Jack would finish. He took Aprils leg. This gave me a great opportunity take several hundred pictures, some of which could be in my top 100! When Jack made it to the check point, "J" took the next 5k, he already had a 10k under his belt, but he manned up! We loaded up and headed down to the next check point where Anton would finish the last 10k. Anton lives with April's parents in Perkins, a very nice young man. He was plenty amped up. "J" and I tried to tell him not to go out too fast.... We then headed out to the finish area. Sherrie and the kid's went to the finish line, "J", Jack, and myself, positioned ourselves at 12th and Broadway, and ran the final leg together as a team. 5 yards before the finish line Anton tossed his cookies.... In front of 10,000 spectators, and live TV. Sweet! We crossed the line and took a few pictures, then we headed home. I needed to get, Brad his pictures, Monica her pictures, I had some things to get to Gaymarie, just a bunch of running around. I should tell you that I'm kinda glad no one was there to greet me at the finish line.... I was a little emotional.... It was called "The Run To Remember!" But for me it was a run of purpose. To prove to myself, the "Three Tools" I talk about are not just words, but if you apply them to your life.... All things are possible. I need to thank several people. Jason & April Klinka for allowing me to be part of team Road Runner, My brothers at 805 Fight Club for my physical preparation, my great friend Alexis Mayfield, who came out to cheer me on, and although she was only 30 feet away from my family she never saw them until I ran by! Kayla Gibson, for her words of encouragement, and my Family who stuck with me through this crazy day! It is going to be a busy week! Stay tuned! Love and Hugs!

God Bless!

Friday, & Saturday 04/24 & 04/25

Well..... As you can probably tell I have been quite busy! Friday, I had to meet with a potential donor in Norman at 7:00am. Left Edmond at 6:15, and made good time, down and back. Once at work, I kicked it in high gear and got my morning duties done by 11:30. Took off for a meeting with Ben Crocker. He had set up an appointment with Get Fit Nutrition at one. On my way to Get Fit, I stopped at Summit and picked up my boots...... I must say, they are Dang sexy! Our meeting went very well, and we have a commitment from Get Fit Nutrition. Ben and I, grabbed a little lunch at Interurban. While we were setting there he showed me a letter he had written to his community relations department at Scottrade. As soon as he got back to work he emailed the letter. Within five minutes, he had a response. They donated 40 sleeves of balls, and tee's! How cool is that? The afternoon went by really quickly. We were very busy at work. After work, I picked up some t-shirts I had ordered through an add I saw on a Menu at Goldies. They are fantastic. I finished uploading all of the pictures from the fashion show, and thank God, I am through with that project. I got up this morning at 5:00am did an ab workout, then started writing letters. I needed an official letter to Scottrade, Get Fit, and Ben and Kinzy Crocker. Ben has been instrumental over the last several weeks. I will write about Ben in detail later. I headed over to Midwest City and delivered some Senior pictures, to Ruby Hightower, then met with Monica Macintosh to do her son's one year pictures. It was God awful windy. Monica needed to go to the PX on base so I went with her. That was cool. After that I went by her house to look at her flower beds..... She needs some help! Got a message that we had a death in the family. My very good friend Tony is in Hawaii and his precious dog Mira passed. I made a beeline to his house to help his in-laws deal with that. Back to the house to clean up, then over to Mikes to watch the first round of the NFL draft and plan out our Moab trip coming up! I hung there until 5:30 when I had to be at Kay Morton's house to take prom pictures of her son Brad and his date! Left there and came home, grabbed the mower, and knocked out the lawn in twenty minutes. Sherrie had dinner ready, vegetable lasagna. We ran down to 36th and Harvey. It is the starting point for my race tomorrow. I wanted to drive the course one last time. I think it's crazy but I am sooooo amped for this race it's nut's. Today one of my great friends was doing a job at one of the Thunder players house. He took a basketball with him and had it signed by DJ White. DJ was the Thunder's first round draft pick last year. The ball will go in the auction at the golf tournament. Crazy busy day! Tomorrow, I have to be at Klink's house at 5:20am. We will run with purpose, then off to Shawnee to ride a bull. That is if the weather holds out! Love you all!

God Bless!

Tuesday, and Wednesday April 21st & 22nd!

Hey Everyone!

Been busy as usual. Every moment I am awake (which has been way too much!) I have been editing pictures from the fashion show I shot Sunday. Please go to http://www.matjones.net/ and click on the Revyze Productions tab. Take a look! I have had several models from the show email asking to see the pictures. Hopefully, I will sell several prints. Every penny I make on my photography from now until October, will go directly to "The Quest". I have been working really hard at the gym. I ran a 5k Monday, and Tuesday, and was only going to run 2.5K yesterday and today, then take the next two days off, but when I finished the 2.5K yesterday I was in a groove and just kept running.... Cal me Forrest Gump! "I was running!" How any of you ever thought you would see the day Mat Jones would run without someone, or something really big was chasing him? Have a ton to do so I'm gonna keep this post short! Won't be going to the gym tonight.... Jordan has orientation at Cosmetology School from 6:30 to 8:30!

Love you!

Hollar???

Good morning all! Tuesday I got up early and continue to edit pictures from the fashion show.... Then off to work. Work was fine, we have been a little slow for the last couple of weeks, so we have been doing a bunch of projects. At lunch went to Lucca (My new favorite store) They have their summer clothes out... English Laundry is where it's at? Really cool retro stuff! I didn't buy anything, but I still love trying stuff on and looking! After work straight to the gym. I ran another 5k, then started working with some new students. We had a great turn-out. A guy came out from Rose State to do a story on us. We had circuit training set up, and we looked very organized. I can't wait to see the story on cable access! After the gym, came home showered...Ate some sweet taters... Started editing pictures! you can see them at www.matjones.net, under the Revyze productions tab! Love everyone!

Sunday& Monday the 19th & 20th of April 2009

Sunday morning came really early. Saturday night, I had some of the core guy's from the gym come over to watch the UFC fight and talk about business. What ended up happening was, there turned out to be a little UFC in the living room. "Big Chollo" Tyson... Thought he could show "Big Poppy" up! Didn't happen! I do have a broken toe, and carpet burns on my elbow. The gathering didn't end until 2:30, then I had to clean the kitchen! Sunday morning was cold and rainy... but after a couple of hours of sleep, I was in the parking lot at church, directing traffic and welcoming folks. After church I made a return trip to Ghetto flea market. Amanda noticed Saturday night that a word was spelled wrong on the quest shirts. I had to have my girl fix them. She did a great job and no-one will ever know. Came home and rotated the tires on my car. I had a little Shimmy in the front end. Then down to the Cox Convention Center where I had the privilege of being the lead photographer for "The Oklahoma City 2009 Hair and fashion Explosion!" I took just over 600 pictures. Spent most off last night editing, and fixing pictures. Work was fine today... What can I say it was.... Work! Headed straight to the gym, and ran a 5k. I am running in the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon, next Sunday, and I have been training very hard. Did a few drills with my buddy Ben, then back home to work on pictures. I am pooped... I will detail the race more tomorrow. Love you all!

God Bless!

Friday, & Saturday April 17th & 18th

Namaste,

Friday was a great day! Work was fine.... Nothing special. However, at lunch Jodi, Gaymarie and I went to Louie's for lunch. The booth we sat in had Bar-b-Que sauce on the table. I was wearing a white shirt. Long and short of the story. I had to go next door to Lucca and buy a new shirt. I found an awesome Rock & Religion shirt on the clearance rack. Late in the afternoon, Mike Giroux called and we had been given eight tickets to the Belator Fighting Championships. They were at the Lloyd Noble Center in Norman. There were eleven fights and it seemed like it went on forever! We left at midnight and they still had two fights to go. Saturday was a busy day. I set up a table at the YMCA's healthy Kids Expo. I had the opportunity to speak to a bunch of people about the quest. At noon I headed down to the flea market to get some shirts made. Amanda noticed last night a word was mis-spelled! Sooooooo, after church I have to head back down to the flea market to see if they can be fixed. Last night I had the guy's and girls from the gym over to watch the UFC fights. We had a couple of our own. My baby toe on my left foot is now dislocated, and I have a carpet burn on my left elbow. Ended up cleaning house until 2:30am. Getting ready to work in the parking lot at church. It is very cold, and windy outside right now. I will write more tonight!

Love you all!

Wednesday and Thursday April 15th & 16th

Holy Cow!

I have been sooooo busy, I decided to pull a double post. Work is good.... I decided yesterday to market all of the marketers that come into our building, by giving them a MatsQuest card, and asking them to look at the site. I also decided to give them an opportunity to market themselves during the golf tournament, as long as they at least sponsor a hole. So far, the response has been off the hook! You never know until you try! I have talked about the audacity of the ask... Well it works! Last night I decided to launch a new website that was dedicated to the golf tournament. www.MatsQuestGolf.com it was pretty easy. If anyone out there needs a site built... Hollar at yo boy! If you sponsor a hole or more your logo will be posted on the site, as well as, at the golf course. I decided to delegate some responsibility for the golf tournament. Sherrie, will be in charge of the cook-out during the awards ceremony. Joy Brown will be running the silent auction, and Ricardo doesn't know yet but he will be facilitating the awards banquet. I still need tons of stuff for the silent auction. If you know anyone that wants to donate let me know. I invited a couple I have know for a few years to be part of the advisory board. This guy is wise beyond his years, and is a true marketer. I really think he will add an aspect of BS that we need. Had a lunch meeting today, that well... went outstanding. I am so jacked up! I took the night off from the gym. I needed to do some family time. I feel guilty... I am going to get my running gear out as soon as I finish this post, I plan on doing 3.5 miles in the morning. My first race in 15 years is a week from Sunday. I can't wait! I also got the email address of a local celeb, and sportscaster, I hope he will sign on as a sponsor and maybe even MC the tournament. If you enjoy my post please comment on them.

God is Good!
Love you all!

Good Morning!

Tuesday.... Well it's not Monday, but.... Pretty good day! I think I signed Edmond Specialty Hospital as the exclusive sponsor for the driving range at the golf tournament. I have nominated Sherrie to be in charge of the cook-out after the tournament. I have a bunch of people who have volunteered to help at the tournament but, I need those people to find me some golfers! I have several people to contact today.... I think we will be quite successful! Yesterday, my BFF Mike Champlin called. He has us booked for a white water rafting trip on May 25th. We will be leaving Edmond on the 22nd, and returning on the 29th or 30th. I am very excited. We are going to do as much hiking as we can in that week. I will be able to do some altitude training there in Moab. The La Sal mountains are just south of Moab, and they have several peaks above 12,000 feet. Kinda crazy to think that Everest is more that two times higher than that....

Have a blessed day!

Monday, April 13th, 2009

Namaste,

If you are wondering what the heck that means..... It's means, pay homage to all living things! Anyway.... Monday, was, well Monday! Work was OK... Had plenty to do to clean up the weekend. After work went straight to the gym, Travis had been working so we had a big mess to clean up. Got the gym in shape, and got a good two mile run in, before some of the guys started showing up. Had a pretty good workout, we have been working on a lot of stand-up. (Boxing) After the gym came home and started working on my taxes. I know... Why wait? I am excited to say, I am due a nice refund. I am claiming my truck I totaled, as a business loss. Anyway, Chad Duggan from Red Rock Landscape and Design, committed to sponsor a hole, or the beverage cart! Ricardo will follow-up on that when he gets back from his short vacation. We only need 36 golf teams, and 98 more sponsors!

God Bless you all!

Saturday & Sunday, April 11th - 12th, 2009

Namaste,

Well... What a great weekend! Saturday morning, started with a couple of hours at work. It is not very busy at the hospital right now so I volunteered to go in and make sure everything was good. I met Travis and Sara Chyzy at Hafer park to do some pictures. They have a little guy Joe, who is just five or six months old. The Chyzy family were dressed to the nines, and we had a blast doing that, The Chyzy's are a great young couple, who have giant hearts. I borrowed a bunny from my friend Gaymarie and it worked out awesome.Came home and did some crazy house cleaning, and lawn work. I needed to get the front yard cleaned up, and get the pond out front filled up and the fountain going. While I was doing that, the mail came and I went to the box. We have been waiting on a letter from the Vo-Tech school. Jordan applied to the cosmetology program, and we were suppose to hear, on Friday. The letter came Saturday... I ran in the garage and made her come out and open the letter. I felt like she had been accepted to Harvard! I am happy to say she was accepted to the program and she will start in the fall. We went to the evening service at my church. It was at 5:00 and it was awesome. My pastor started a new series called "The Ultimate Fighter!" Great stuff. After church I took the fam out to Louie's for a little celebration. We came home and I started editing pictures. Sunday morning, I worked in the parking lot at church. If you live in Oklahoma you know it was cold, and very wet. After that I went to work for a couple of hours, then home for Easter lunch, we had a big crowd! Mike and Jenni Giroux, Travis, Sara, and Joe Chyzy, Adam and Amanda Pratt, Curtis and Lisa Jones, my Mom, and my family. Sherries grandmother even showed up for dessert. We had more food than Wal*Mart Super center. Everything was great going down.... If you know what I mean! I took about a 30 minute nap, then down to the Cox convention center, where I am doing a photo shoot for Revyze Productions. They are hosting a ginormous, fashion show next Sunday! I hate spending several hours in a room filled with beautiful young ladies! Yuck! Anyway, came home and started editing those pictures, until I couldn't keep my eye's open, then sleepy time. It's going to be a great week! Need ton's of help with the golf tournament! Let me know if you can help!

Love you all!

Friday, April 10th, 2009

Namaste,

Friday went well. Got to work early, and got things started. Had lunch with Jodi Graft. Jodi knows some very influential people in the sports, and business community. I really believe she can help with the dinner after the golf tournament, as well as, the silent auction! I have the first commitment for a hole sponsor.... Heritage Baptist Church. It's a start! I need to have 36 teams to make this thing successful. If you have anything that you would like to donate to the silent auction please drop me a note. I picked up the flyer's for the golf tournament this afternoon. They were designed by the best graphic artist in Oklahoma... ME! After work, I picked up Sherrie, Jordan, and Mike and met Jason and April Klinka in Bricktown before the Thunders last home game. I'm happy and sad the season is over... Basketball season goes on forever. Anyway we won! So that was good. I received a call from the Edmond YMCA yesterday. They are having a health kids expo next Saturday and ask me if I wanted to set up a table and talk about "The Quest". Of course I do! It will be great! Working for a couple of hours this morning, then two photo shoots.... We are having several guy's from the gym over for Easter lunch tomorrow, so after the photo shoots, we will be cleaning house! Come over and help!

Love you all!

Thursday, April 8th, 2009

Namaste,

Thursday was a very encouraging, and disturbing day all at the same time. I talked to the Chief Operating Officer of the company I work for.... His name is Shawn Burrows. He is a great guy, and although he has never said anything about religion, you can tell his faith runs deep. I explained "The Quest" to him and my reasons for doing it. He understood, and offered his support, However, there are some opportunities coming up that I may miss out on, if I am half way around the planet. I then had lunch, with my Ambassador of Quan! Clark Mitchell, who is my spiritual advisor, and one of the best friends, a guy could have. Clark was very direct and thinks my trip to Everest may be a year early. Clark explained to me that, I have conquered the mountain of obesity, but there are other mountains in my life that need to be climbed first. WOW! How correct he is in that assessment. My goal for the next four months is to conquer some of those other mountains.... Some are quite easy, some may never get summited. One of the easiest is spending more quality time with my family. We all spend time with the family, but what are we doing during that time? Usually we are all spread out doing our own thing. I am going to commit to next Saturday, taking the family on a day hike. I'm sure, they will have no interest in doing that, and it may sound like, just because I want to go on a day hike does not mean they want to.... I am willing to bet anything, when we get back they will say "That was awesome!" Had a good workout last night. I have been working on my jujitsu lately, and feel like I could really compete soon! Thanks Mike Hayes! Have a great Friday!

Love you all!

Wednesday April 8th, 2009

Namaste, (Hello) Wednesday was a great day... Work was fine, it's a little slow, but there is always something to keep us busy. I continued to work on the up-coming Golf Tournament last night. The date will be in May, on a Friday, at 9:00am. I hope, and need to have the date today. I can't tell you how important this is. I will need everyones help to pull this off. This tournament alone could fund 75% of "The Quest", and any money collected over our budget will be donated to an organization to fight obesity. We will be selling hole sponsorships for $100.00 and teams will be $240.00 per four some. This is a very reasonable cost fora tournament and I would love to see 100 teams in the tournament. In addition to that I am conducting a silent auction. I will have autographed sports memorabilia, Autographed books, Spa Packages, and anything else, we can get our hands on. If you would like to be assigned a task for the tournament please let me know!

Love you all!

Big Day for "The Quest!" I have been waiting on official approval from my employer (Principle Pharmacy Group) to be gone for the month of October. Well finally yesterday right before lunch, I got a call from human resources, and it's a go! I have to use all of my vacation, and personal days, then after that it will be unpaid. This should leave me with just a few days that are unpaid. I had lunch with "Big Ben" Crocker. Not only is Ben a great friend, he is my stockbroker, and work-out partner. Ben is wise beyond his years! He offered several suggestions for fund raising.... As I have mentioned in past post, I should have a date set for the golf tournament very soon. In addition to the golf tournament, there will be a silent auction that will include some of the coolest stuff ever. Tons of sports memorabilia, spa packages, golf packages, weekend get- aways ect... Had a great work-out at the gym last night. Ran from the gym through the hood, and found the house in Oklahoma City that has the most pitbulls in their yard. They have one that has a head as big as my mastiff. Got back to the gym and did 250 crunches, and 50 pull-ups. When the rest of the guy's showed up, we worked three hit combo's, Thai pads, and then went to the cage to work on submission defense. Had several good rolls with David, Adam, and Mike Hayes. My elbow is still very tender, but I'll get Jason to give me a couple of treatments today, and we will see if it does any better. We had ten letters asking for support go out today! Hope and pray we start seeing some fruit.... Everyone have a great hump day!

God Bless!

Monday, April 6th, 2009

Good Morning! Great Monday..... Work was work! Started off with a bad case of the Monday's! There was enough to keep me busy all day, and that makes time go by really fast! After work I went by the gym and got things in order for last nights class. I had been invited to speak at a World Ventures business profile meeting. I only had a few minutes but that's all I needed. I highlighted the main points of "The Quest" and then after the meeting I had several people stick around to talk to me. I honestly believe that this was one of the most important things I have done so far. I really hope, and pray, that World Ventures will find a way to assist me with the airfare and hotels in Kathmandu. I also talked to one of my advisers Ricardo Villarreal. Ricardo is a Physical Therapist, runs a boot camp, owns a real estate investment company, and is one of the most generous, beautiful human beings in the world! Ricardo gave me some serious encouragement, that refreshed the spirit. Yesterday was also one of my good friend's birthday.... "Big Ben Crocker" his lovely wife Kinzy forgot to let me know.... I have plans to take Ben to Louie's, in Edmond for lunch today. If you can make it give me a call!

Love you all!

Friday, Saturday, & Sunday 4/3 - 4/5

Hello Everyone! Let me start with Friday... Pretty slow day at work as far a work goes, our patient count is down right now. Friday evening our OKC Thunder hosted the Portland Trailblazers, and I met Mike Champlin and his friend Jamie at Zio's for some pregame activities. The game was brutal.... Sherrie has been sick, so I came home in the middle of the third period. Saturday started early.... I was up by 4:30 so at 5:00 I went outback to clean my storage building. Over the winter, things just get thrown in there and I couldn't find anything. I was wearing my IPOD and had some Usher cranked up, next thing I know Sherrie is standing in the backyard concerned that if I was waking her up with my soulful serenade, just think about what the neighbors thought about it. I loaded up my weed eater, edger, sprayer, spreader, and some weed and feed, and headed over to mom's. I think if I kill her lawn now it will save me a lot of time this summer!!! Edged, weed ate, and sprayed her lawn. Post lawn work activities got a shower, and went to Summit Co. Got hooked-up with a new North Face polo.... Took it to the mall and had http://www.matsquest.com/, and 805 logo's put on it. Tomorrow I will have Summit and http://www.matjones.net/ put on it. Took Jordan out driving, then came home and took a Xanax. Tyler Griffen fought at Fire Lake last night so I loaded up a couple of guy's from the gym and we went out to the fight. I met Rampage Jackson.... He autographed a shirt for me it says "Good Luck with the Quest!" Pretty cool. I also made contact with a clothing company, House of Pain. I have several pieces of their gear and love it. I will be mailing them a letter for support tomorrow. Today, Sunday started with me working in the parking lot at church... Funny story.... I got kicked out of one church for almost running over a parking lot volunteer.... Went to the service, then over to Kingpin Choppers to shoot some parts. This evening I am going to the rehearsal for a big fashion show that will be on the 19th. Evan Hopkins productions is hosting this event and I hope to sign them as a gold level sponsor soon! We have 21 subscribers to the blog. If you know anyone who we can sign up let me know. My goal is to have 100 subscribers by the end of the month and 250 by July 1st. Looks like the Golf Tournament is going to happen! Keep me in your prayers. Looks like another crazy week!

Much Love!

Thursday April 2nd, 2009

Good Morning! Mailed out a couple of letters today. Had the opportunity to share my story with a couple who have been battling weight problems for their whole lives. I hope my story impacted them, in a way that will motivate them to start with the small steps, and then start the process of complete life change. Life is funny.... I will be speaking at the World Ventures hub next Monday evening. I have ask them to help with my airfare, and hotels in Kathmandu. That would take a giant load off of the budget. I have a ton of Ideas running through my mind... I know several people who work at different golf courses, and I am seriously considering putting together a golf tournament to help fund "The Quest"! If anyone would like to help with this PLEASE let me know. I know the trip is six months away, but deposits are fast approaching, and I have to apply for visa's to India, and Nepal. The Visa for India is due to the fact that I will have an overnight layover in New Deli, and you have to have a visa to leave the airport. Don't really want to spend the night in the airport, but I would.... I would like to arrive in Nepal fresh and rested, it would really help with the acclimatization.

Have a great day, Love you all!

God Bless

Wednesday, April 1st, 2009

Woooo-Hoooo! Hump Day, came and went without too much fuss. I received a mixed bag of responses to my blog yesterday. Some were very positive, and some very educational. (;-) You may be wondering why I have not mailed support letters to friends, or family members... I DO NOT want anyone to feel obligated to be part of "The Quest". If you want to be involved, whether it is financial, educational, or with the preparations, please just ask. One of my favorite people on this planet, sent me an email yesterday stating "Prayer is such an easy request, but the most powerful support, you will be in mine daily!" This means as much to me as a big monetary donation. I do have several letters going out today, to some of the ancillary companies that we use at the hospital. If you have any advice on fund raisers (Golf tournaments, or Poker Runs?), please let me know!

Have a great day!

Love you all!

Where do I start? Pretty slow day... Had an appointment in Norman yesterday at noon with one of my clients in Norman. I would love to sign them as a sponsor, but they are struggling just like everyone else. The thing that is driving my crazy is, when I ask someone to sponsor me... They could sponsor me for $1.00 or $15,000.00 and it would be appreciated the same. (Well you know what I mean!) Anyway... If you know of anyone who would like to be a part of "The Quest" please send me a message, so I can send them a letter! Thank You!

God Bless
