It has been a whirlwind so far. We left the house at 10:30 Saturday morning and got to the airport at 11:15. Once through security and ticketing we made it to the terminal and had about two hours to wait. We boarded the plane and everything was great. The flight to Dallas was quite bumpy, so Sherrie had a death grip on me. We landed in Dallas and had a couple of hours, so Trey ran off with the boys and Sherrie and I found a cafe to share a chicken sandwich. We boarded and I was quite dissappointed. The plane was older and it did not have TV's in the headrest. The flight was only 9 hours and 35 minutes, but none of us rested very well. We landed in Paris and got our bags. The bus brought us to the hotel and we showered and cleaned up. Our guides name is Gills (Jill) and he is pretty darn cool. We took the train to city center, where he gave us a walking tour of the city. We finished the wallking tour at the back of Notre Dame Cathedral. Sherrie and I went into the Basillica while many others went walking around the shops. We met outside and walked to dinner. It was a french pizza and I gotta tell you it was wonderful! The bus picked us up and we came back to the hotel. It is 9:33pm here. As soon as Sherrie hit the pillow she passed out. It is cold and rainy here in Paris, but the weather is suppose to clear tomorrow!
