Namaste,

Kinda lazy crazy morning... We got around about 7:00am and went to some garage sales. We were looking for some used bicycles. We didn't find anything that was worth buying.... We stopped at Java Dave's then to the Farmers Market. I had a Muay Thai clinic that started at 10:00, so I opened the gym at 9:30. Our Muay Thai instructor, Coach Mike Parker just achieved the rank of Arjon, which is the highest ranking one can achieve. We had a serious workout. Like 2 1/2 hours of non-stop kick boxing. I raced home and picked up Sherrie, and we went to mom's to get Trey. We did his back to school shopping, then dropped him back off at mom's. We also dropped Sherrie's phone off to be fixed. We ran to Wal Mart and got a few more things for Trey, then off to Jenni and Ricardo's to get Jordan. We stopped at the mall and did some back to school shopping for Jordan. We ran by the market and found some turkey burgers, and a few other things. We came home and I grilled the burgers, then we relaxed for an hour before heading back to Wal Mart to look at Bikes. I found one on clearance.... Originally it was $400.00.... It had been ridden, returned, and repaired, so they said make me an offer? I said $60.00, and they said OK! Sherrie got an inexpensive bike too. We were going to hike Mt Scott tomorrow, but I think we are going to bike and run at the lake instead! We are getting up at 5:00 so I better get to bed! Pictures from the lake last night!

Love you all!

Namaste,

Thank the lord it was Friday! I got up a little late.... No big rush today, kinda take it easy morning. By late I mean 5:45. I Stopped by Starbucks and then on to work. Work continues to be slow, but at the beginning of each month I have about 10 different audits that I do. Yesterday it was time to do a documentation audit on the nurses. There are certain medications (Blood thinners) that they are required to document lab values before giving the medication. In this case I have to go back to the Medication Administration Record and see if the lab was documented before they gave the drug. There were 119 doses last month so it took a while. I met my friend Jennifer Walters at Applebees for lunch. I was not able to attend the last Board of Directors meeting so she brought me up to date on the Epilepsy Association. We decided to do a Pancake breakfast fund raiser. It will be October 30th. Back to work...... I continued audits until we left at 4:30. Jordan is house sitting for Jenni and Ricardo this weekend, and she had to be at work at 6:00 so I ran over to pick her up after a stop at Starbucks! We came home, and Sherrie and I headed out for Friday date night. We went to a newish Mexican restaurant at lake Hefner wharf called Mama Rojas. It was very tasty! We walked around the wharf a bit and then drove around the lake. We saw a guy with a Red Tail Hawk.... He was a falconer, and they were hunting. I had my camera with a telephoto lens so I snapped a few pictures. We came home and relaxed a bit, then when Jordan got off work at 11:36 we had to take her back to Jenni and Ricardo's. Long day! The pictures are of the Hawk, and the Bird! (Lady Bird!)

Love you all!

Namaste,

Happy Thursday. I slept in until 5:34, when the lovely Sherrie yelled "You need to get up!" I said, "but I don't want to!" I got up anyway! I had a dentist appointment at 7:00am. I had to get a cavity filled. I got to Dr. Mike Wallace's office, and he has more little hotties working in there than the best Hooters in the country! Dr. Wallace is one of my favorite people in the world. He is hilarious, but has a soft sweet side, that let's you know he has a huge heart! I graduated with his older sister, and she is just as sweet. I left there and made a direct beeline for Starbucks. On to work.... I kinda cheated yesterday, and did quite a bit of my work for today knowing I had my two big properties to get mowed today. I left for a long lunch and went to Midwest City. I picked up Brent, and since my big mower is in the shop, we did everything we usually do except the big areas that we use the ZTR on. In addition to that, we cut down several dead trees, and hauled them off. I went inside and borrowed some Tylenol from Chad. My head was pounding, maybe from the drilling of my tooth, or maybe from the extreme temperatures, lack of sleep, or myriad of things, like getting hit in the head.... A lot! Brent and I stopped real quick at Pizza Inn and had a salad and pizza. It helped the head a little. I headed back to Edmond and went to work for a few hours before going out front to prune the Crepe myrtles, and then Sherrie came and helped me mow the front of the hospital. Home for a shower and the to Buffalo for 1/2 price wing night. It was not very good at all, but we had to go to WalMart, and it was the closest thing. We picked up a few things like dog food, milk, lunch meat for Trey tomorrow, and some laundry soap, then home. I finished the book "Momentum" yesterday, and started a new one called "A line that was Drawn" by Hugh Estlinbaum. I grew up with Hugh, and the story is about a life and death struggle his 10 year old son had with the H1N1 virus. It was only 100 pages and I finished it in two settings. I got two more books in the mail today. "Climbing High" a woman's account of surviving the Everest tragedy by Lene Gammelgaard. Lene was the first Scandinavian woman to climb Everest. She climb on May 10th, 1996. The day of the worst tragedy in Everest history. Lene was climbing with her great friend Scott Fischer, who we all know died on the mountain. The other book is "Because it's There!" The life of George Mallory, by Dudley Green.Everyone knows when George Mallory was ask why he wanted to climb Everest he said.... "Because it's There!" I am probably going to read Climbing High first. I also have another book on order called "The Climb" by Anatoli Boukereev. He gives his account of the tragedy on Everest in 1996. Anyway! I am tired, and think the pillow is calling my name! More pictures of Mt Everest. If you are wondering????? Yes! I am obsessed!

Namaste,

Did not sleep well. Tossed and turned. I got up at 4:50 and thought about going for a run, but coffee and reading won out! There are 77 chapters in the book I am reading, and I left off on 60. As I was leaving the house I noticed the air was very warm. I have a pretty good idea what that means. The coil was frozen over which is indicative of low freon. I have an easy way to thaw the coil. Turning of the unit and leaving the fan on forces hot air over the coil. It will completely defrost the coil in a matter of minutes. I was rushing out the door when I noticed Sherrie had taken my car. As I looked at her car, I see some kind of entrails on the roof. Sooooo I had to get the hose out and wash her car. After that was done I was finely able to head to Starbucks then on to work. I did my usual morning stuff, then lunch at Louie's.... I was going to take my lunch all week, but I had a difficult morning! After lunch I started doing unit inspections. The nurses hate them because I follow them through the med cart and make sure they are following procedures. I know they do it one way when we are watching, and another when no one is around. I left around four and had several stops to make before heading to the gym. I dropped lawn mower parts off at the welding shop, had to go by a thrift store and get some cheap speakers for the gym, and then stop by mom's to get my ladder. I headed up to the gym, and when I unlocked the door.... The air inside was stifling. It had to be 130 degrees.... I opened doors and then did some weight training. I have not really lifted in quite a while, and did not have a spotter.... I was starting to wonder if anyone was going to show for class, but a few minutes before six several guy's showed up, and I had circuit training set up, but the guy's who showed are all ju-jit-su players, and ask if we could just roll. We did two in one out, which means you go two five minute rounds then sit one out. It was great!!!!! I was going to come home and get the lawn equipment and do a couple properties, but I am exhausted. I have a big day planned for tomorrow. Going to dentist for a filling at 7:00, on to work, trying to get out early, and then head to Midwest City, leave there and do a few things at the Edmond property. I want to take Big Mama out to dinner Friday. We are hosting a Muay Thai clinic on Saturday, and then it is back to school weekend, so shopping. The pictures are of the top of Sherries car this morning, and our killer cat, that leaves us wonderful gifts!

Namaste,

Got up on time.... About 5:20! Shower, coffee, a couple of chapters in my book. Off to Starbucks. then work. It continues to be very slow at work. I had my USP 797 monitoring to do, so that took a little while. I took my big mower to the shop in El Reno at lunch. It took a bit, but I had to get it in. It has a blown head gasket, and the guy who is fixing it needed it by three today. Back to work, where thank goodness I had a sandwich and granola bar. The afternoon was full of price changes, and emails. I left a bit early and came home. We have several spots where drywall needs to be replaced. I patched a spot by the backdoor then got ready for the gym. I got there at 5:30 and got a good sweat going, with some jump rope, and shadow boxing. After a bit a couple guys showed up, and we did some sparring. I had a few great rounds. My leg is fine while standing, but when the fight goes to the ground, my leg gives me fits. Morgan started a ground and pound class at 6:30 and by 7:30 I was done. It had to be 120 or 130 degrees in the gym. I was spent. We found out today... One of our pro fighters, Cole Province inked a deal to fight Mike Brown in the WEC in September. Cole was a four time NCAA champion wrestler at the University of Central Oklahoma, and hell of a guy. Mike Brown is a two time WEC Champion and is rated the number three featherweight in the WORLD. How cool is that??? On another note.... When I got home from work there was a message on the recorder... Trey was in a reading program at the public library. When you read a certain number of pages you get entered into a drawing. The was a message that said he won an Ipod Touch! What a toad! He deserves it though! He helps around the house, loves his mama, and his grandmother, and takes his school work so seriously. Trey really blossomed this year with his violin. He took it upon himself this summer to learn piano, and guitar! As you all know Trey has also been invited with his scholar squad to Germany, and Austria in the spring. I will be joining them on that trip with plans to try and stay in Europe for a few extra weeks and do some climbing in the Alps. The pictures are Trey. He has had quite a growth spurt this summer. He is only 12, but is almost 6 feet tall!

Namaste,

Holy crap! I did not want to get up this morning, but knew I had to! Did the usual morning ritual. Shower, coffee, and reading. Off to Starbucks and then on to work. Work was quite busy in the morning, just like all Mondays. The clean up from the weekend is always a mess. Jodi had dropped her car off at the dealership for service so at noon we went back to get it. We stopped at Jason's Deli at lunch, and got a giant salad. They have the best salad bar in Edmond. The afternoon was very slow. I started getting very tired, so I took the opportunity to come home and lay down. I took an hour and a half nap, then bounced up and ran to the gym. It was 106 degrees today, so it was 130 degrees in the gym. I opened the doors and got the fans on. I did some shadow boxing, jumped rope, and then rolled with Jeremy Morton, and a new guy Joe. I tapped Jeremy, then he tapped Giroux, so that made me the champ by default. Well at least in my own mind. I am still having problems with my left leg. It really hurts when I put my knee on the mat. I feels like there is a knife sticking in there, but does not hurt to walk or run. I came home and Sherrie wanted to run, but it was still 103 degrees outside. I am just drained! Time for bed! A couple of pictures from Moab, Utah!

Love you all!

Namaste,

This officially is my 400th blog post. It is hard to believe that I have been blogging that long, but I feel it gives me a way to communicate with my friends and family all over the world. I wish everyone that reads the blog would sign up as a follower. I slept pretty well last night.... Boomer only got up once so I feel like I got some good rest. You may or may not know, but Boomer has a genetic condition that causes him to form cysteine crystals in his urinary tract. He takes 16 pills a day to regulate his Ph. We have to wrap eight pills twice a day in deli turkey, so when we go to the market we have to get "Boomers Turkey" and "Our Turkey!" He is a spoiled brat and we call him "Baby Boomer!" Back to today.... Got up at 6:00 and made my coffee.... Watched an old movie (Somersby) that we actually own but I have not seen in years. Time for a shower and then get ready for church. We picked Trey up at mom's on the way to church, and we worked in the parking lot. After church I had some serious errands to run. With seven or eight trips to the Hardware store yesterday, we had a ton of stuff to return. Our first stop was at Lowe's, then Home Depot, then Target, then home! When we got here we had a bite to eat, then I went out in the garage to clean and organize the mowers and lawn equipment. I expected it would take an hour or two, but I was out there for four hours. The mowers are tuned, cleaned and ready for new blades. All of the lawn equipment that is not being used right now has been moved to the storage building, and things that are used sporadically are neatly in the garage. I came in took a shower and then laid down for 30 minutes that turned into an hour and a half. Sherrie had a pork loin in the slow cooker all day..... WOW! IT WAS AWESOME! I ate waaaaaaaay to much!!!! We had to run by Crest and pick up some produce than we ran over to mom's to pick up my jock strap! You're probably wondering why my jock was at mom's????? Thursday night when I jumped in her pool before taking Sherrie to the concert in the park, that's all I had on! Now that's a visual you could have done without! We headed over to Hafer park to run their 1 1/2 mile circuit. It was 106 degrees today, and it was still in the high 90's. There was no wind, and the air was thick! I came home for my third shower of the day, and to get ready for the week. We ran by the Edmond property and it has been so dry, that it looks like I just mowed today! I may get away with not mowing there for several days!!!!! Yeah! The pictures are Boomer! I have probably posted them before but like I said..... He is a spoiled rotten brat!

Love you all!
