Good Morning!
Sunday was a great day. Started with working at the church in the parking lot, then Trey and I stayed for service. We came home after church and made a quick trip to Wal-Mart for some grilling supplies. I came home and rebuilt my grill, then headed down to the Chase building for a quick climb of the 35 story stair case. My hiking boots, weigh 4 pounds and climbing the stairs is a great way to condition my legs for the uphill hike. I think the next time I climb the stairs, I will load my pack with 30 pounds, and try that. I made it up and down in 16 minutes, and 20 seconds, and that includes stopping at the 35th floor to take a picture. When I left there I went to the new gym and met Mike Giroux.... We started cleaning the back corner out, and getting it ready to start moving equipment in. It was really nasty in there! I told Sherrie I would be home at 3:30, because of friend Miriam was coming over for dinner. Miriam has really been a blessing in the last month. She has really stepped up the fund raising efforts for the quest. She is organizing my send off part for me and I don't think it's something I could have handled right now. We grilled veggies, and made shish-k-bobs, with chicken, shrimp, and steak. We put everything in bowls, and everyone made their own skewers. It was a blast. Anyway... I need to get ready for work. Friday and Saturday, August 7th & 8th, 2009Namaste,

OK... Started early. Had to pick mom up and take her to work, which means I got to work at 6:45. I started early and it's a good thing because we got busy. I met my friends Joy Brown and Stacy Phillips for lunch. They were going to lunch and, well I invited myself! We went Louie's. I had loaned Joy's husband Caleb my rain jacket for a trip to Japan, and she brought it back to me, and it's already in my bag for Nepal. After work, I came home and we got Trey and took him shopping for his school supplies, and a few new clothes. Sherrie took him to mom's while I did our lawn. After all of the rain we had this week, the grass had really grown. After I finished the lawn I caught a quick shower, and we went to Crest to get groceries. We came home and Sherrie crashed out I started cleaning house and finely went to bed at 2:30. I started this morning at 5:30... Cleaning, moving pictures, exercise equipment, and then over to mom's to do her lawn, then replace her fuel pump. The fuel pump took all day, and then home to get ready for some guy's from the gym to come over for the UFC fights. I am going to bed the minute the fights are over. I will write more tomorrow!

Namaste,
OK... So my mom calls me at 7:00 and tells me her car is broken down, it is raining cats and dogs, and the lightning is crashing like crazy. I tried to jump it and it sounded like it was not getting fuel. Soooo I went back to work. Later in the day Ed from maintenance helped me tow it back to work. It is the fuel pump and it will be the weekend before I will be able to get to it. After work I came home and laid down in the bed to watch the news.... Next thing I know it's 6:45 and I really wanted to get to the gym. I jumped up and made it to the gym by 7:00. We had an awesome 2 hours circuit. When I got home at 9:15 I was still drenched, and a little sore, but feeling really good about my cardio. I usually run on Friday mornings, but I have to take mom to work at 6:30 so we'll see what happens. I need to run... I also need to do the stairs at Chase this weekend. Going to bed! Love you all!

Wednesday was good... Good! I went at noon and looked at the new space we will be moving the gym into. It is going to be nice, but it will also take a ton of work. I ran back to work and started changing the back brake pads on my car. After a while I gave up and went back inside. It was very difficult, and It never would have gotten put back together without our maintenance department. After work I went straight to the gym.... I got a good workout in, then ran to the Conoco to get 5 lottery tickets. I guess I need to check them and see if I need to get ready for work or not? Anyway we had a great class, and everyone worked really hard. After class came home, did dishes, laundry, and made a turkey tortilla pizza. Then off to sleepy time. Have a great day!

Monday & Tuesday, August 3rd & 4th, 2009

Good Morning all.... Monday was well Monday! I had a case of the Monday's. I took myself off of Caffeine completely. OMG.... Was that a good idea? Caffeine has a tendency to dehydrate you, but it also acts as a stimulant. Since I stopped drinking coffee, I was hungry all of the time. I was not in a very good mood. After work I went straight to the gym. We had another board of directors meeting. It was OK.... We are going to move the gym. We had a good workout. Sherrie is becoming a bad, bad, girl. Her kicks are really coming on, and she is becoming sooo aggressive. Makes me happy! I really think id a situation arose she could handle herself. After gym came home, showered, and crashed out! Tuesday was a good day. Had plenty to do at work. I did unit audits, which took most of the day. After work I headed straight to the gym. The photographer from the Daily Oklahoman came to take pictures for the story that is going to run in the paper. Sherrie came up and the photographer took several pictures of us together, and of me working out with Ben. After he left, Ben worked me over for a good hour, and when Travis arrived, and stretched we rolled. It went really well, until I was letting him up, and he caught me with a hook. Busted a blood vessel in my head.... I have a giant knot on my head. I look like a dork. Anyway, had a great workout and was home by 7:30. I just got off of Skype with my guide Naba... I am only 40 days out! I can't help but get excited! Anyway! I need to get ready for work! Love you all!

Kinda a Blah, blah day. Got up and went and worked at Peoples Church, then home and picked up Sherrie and we headed to Life Church. I don't know why, I guess I was trying to be nice. Anyway when we got home I started sorting through Trey's toy boxes. What a bunch of stuff..... We hung posters in his room, and really got it looking nice. At 5:00 I met Ben, and Mike at Applebee's to discuss the future of the club.We had Rick Warren join us and he had some great ideas. Rick's dad owns some property, and we went to look at one of his buildings. It has a lot of potential.... Came home for some dinner, and then just cleaning up for this week. It will be another busy week.

Friday and Saturday, July 31st, and Aug 1st!
Namaste,
Busy day.... Work was good, we are a little slow at work, so we actually got off an hour early. I came home and loaded my weed eater, and blower and headed to my buddy Jason's house. He has been in Chicago for a week and a half, and we have had soooo much rain, that I knew his lawn would be out of control. I got over there and did he edging and weed eating, then I was going to use his mower.... Guess what? Couldn't get it out of his garage. I guess he threw the breaker to the garage door, and I couldn't find it. Sooooo I headed over to mom's and knocked her lawn out. Then Came home and did mine. Got a quick shower, and took Sherrie to Budda Tao, for dinner. I love the Shittake roll.... Mushrooms, red bell peppers, and cream cheese. Then we came home and relaxed. Saturday morning, got up at six to take Jordan to work, then started in Treys room. We painted, and it took most of the morning. At about noon, we cleaned up, and has several pictures to deliver. We went by Miriam's house and dropped off a picture I took, in Arkansas. Then we headed down to Chelino's to give Rosa her pictures from last weekend. After that we went and looked for furniture for Trey's room. We found a bed but damn, people are proud of their stuff. We came home and I ended up hanging his new ceiling fan. Took a shower, washed the car. Then off to sleepy time. Today, will be a bunch of running around and putting Treys room back together. Love you all!
